teo is not ready for lomachenko but he will be in a few years. He's a real threat. He looked bad last fight, imo loma looked bad against pedraza.

If Loma is capable of making Lopez look like a clown, it would be indescribable how he would make Commey's primitively skilled ass look.

You're not considering that he almost ripped his shoulder in half in the Linares fight. He couldn't throw a right hook (his best punch) for over a year. Now that he's recovered he's far more dominant again. If he was fully healthy against Pedraza it would have been 120-104 for Loma instead of 118-109 or whatever it was for Loma.

You seem underestimate Pedraza too much. Pedraza is not a regular fighter. He destroyed Ray Beltran and TKO'ed Antonio Lozada with his sharp, timely, accurate punches and well-put outbox strategy. He is a smart fighter with good eyes and great defense. It is baseless and unintelligent to say that Nakatani would beat a two-times world champion just because your favorite boy Lopez struggle against him.

And just because Loma is shorter in height and reach, it would make him easier to target and to defend from. Loma's opponent in London Olympics's final, Han Soon-chul, is 178 cm and he landed almost no clean shot on Loma. Maybe you don't learn your boxing history well that so many shorter height and reach win against much taller and rangier opponent, such as Duran against Leonard.

Nah, pretend boxing fans are the exact opposite. They keep thinking their fighter would beat top tier talent no matter how many times they lose. Just look at Broner and Khan fans.

Wait, you are basing everything on height and reach? Not actual tactics and skills?

So a couple of losses would change people's opinion of a fighter. Seems pretty logical to me, especially in the example you provide in which Loma is knocked out *EASILY*. Twice.

Speculation, could a should a woulda. He'd have to fight Tank's son again to prove that point, and that won't happen

You want him to prove that he can beat Pedraza even wider on the cards? Its was about as wide as it could get already.

Lopez isn't my favorite. It's amazing at how sensitive Loma fan boys get when it is suggested that Lopez or Haney would give him a tough fight. He's had tough fights with Linares, and Pedraza who aren't half of what Loma and Haney are.
