It took Loma 2 fights to pop his 0, Floyd hasn't achieved such greatness in 20 years and 49 fights.

How can you compare a 15yo Canelo to a 2 time Olympic gold medalist?

Canelo is younger than Loma and he has achieved much more than him.

You missed the point the poster said Floyd was younger then loma that's why he had easy fights
well canelo is young and fought 40 stiffs before fighting a live body

Loma is the most skilled fighter of this era
    2 olimpic gold

    2 world champions won

only one loss in 390 amateur fights

8 pro fights which put fighters with 30 plus fights to shame

He was beating shot to pieces LW Josesito Lopez in his 41st fight, after having been gifted a title shot vs the also shot to pieces Matty Hatton who's best days were long behind him on the Isle of Great Britain beating club fighters for the BBBoC titles riding the coattails of his once great but undisciplined brother Ricky.

Canelo is a creation of Oscars, being fed stale old hasbeens, and buying judges in fights vs solid opposition.

I bet Oscar bought CJ Ross a new Aston Marten for her scorecard vs Floyd.

I'd imagine the judges in the Trout, Lara, and Cotto fights all have lovely yachts as well, though he did win 7 clean rds vs Cotto.

But Lara made him look foolish for 8 of 12, and Trout outclassed him, in spite of a solid KD scored by Yeller.

I don't even want to imagine what GGG would do to Lara, Trout, Angulo, Kirkland, and Cotto.

I think it's an apples and oranges situation. One of Floyd's hallmarks is longevity and consistency over a long period of time. Loma doesn't have that in his favor...But his quality out of the gate is about as good as anyone I've ever seen. If he retains that quality over the next few years (and I certainly hope that he does), we're looking at someone really, really special.

Loma is my favorite fighter, but Pac or May would not have lost to Salido in any fight. There are a bunch of idiotic posts this morning because Loma beat Walters. I predicted Loma would make it look easy in several threads prior to the fight. Walters was never special in my book beating a limited fighter in Donaire. Donaire has looked like crap since Rigo exposed him.

No doubt that May and PAC are greats but I don't think that neither one of them would of done better against Salido in their second pro fight...
