Loma: I'm not a world champion

    Loma: The feeling that Russell could not knock me out appeared before the fight. The opponent is doing what he is allowed to do. Russell's speed was against opponents who gave him to show it. But I'm another than 24 people from his previous fights list. I knew his speed will not work against me. If I could, I would finish the fight early. Everyone loves knockouts, blood and meat. I tried to do it. But either Russell was too good, or I did something wrong. I beat in the stomach. I don't know how he kept painful hitting. Russell was a very tough nut to crack. Mini-tournament of champions with Gradovich, Walters and Donaire would be interesting. There is a need to create a one championship belt. We can stretch this tournament a year and a half. Now I’m like a world champion, but I don't think so. I won one boxer who had not boxed with none of the tops. Champion of the world - this is when all the versions united, they made a belt, and you won it. Then you can consider yourself the best. There is little that depends on me with whom I will box next. I would be interested to box with Rigondeaux. But it is unlikely he will rise to 57. I'm 100% will not fall to his weight. I offered Salido a rematch right after the fight, but he would not. In my career I would like to box with tops. I'm not from the league where you're going to box with little-known boxers. My next fight will be in late October or early November.

    I would love to see him fight Rigondeaux. I could see him beating Rigondeaux too. Lomachenko is really ****ing good.

    Very refreshing outlook on his place in the sport. I wonder how long he'll be at 126 or if there are any issues with him making the weight in the long term. I also wonder how Donaire feel about fighting a sound fighter like Lomochenko who's probably bigger than him, when he struggled against a sound fighter who was smaller than him?

    Donaire isn't getting past anyone.

    More and more, he's looking like he's past prime. For example, just one fight later he gets hammered by tiny Darchinyan and only wins on his power alone. Next fight, vs. Vetyeka, he looks like he wanted out of the ring as soon as the first punch landed. He's fighting on his power alone at this point.

    He doesn't consider himself a champ til he cleans house. In another words, you're only a true champ when you're undisputed. My hat's off to Loma he has my respect and he's a champ at heart already. Basically called everyone out from Rigo to Nonito and even his conqueror, Salido!

    Now thats a mentality of a champion. Not satisfied with his recent accomplishment but still hungry for more greatness. RESPECT.

    whats the chances of him fighting in new York late oct early nov? i'll be there then it would be great if he fought there.

    So Loma knew he'd win the fight, he only took a fight he knew he'd win. *******s, he's a cherry picker too!!

    It was a good fight, very entertaining. HBO has put on good fights this year. I say fights and not cards because their cards have been only 2 fights.

    thats why pac and floyd's 8 and 5 division titles don't mean much
