Your description describes a fighter from the past & possibly a few currently in the present.

I agree. Shohei Ohtani all the way.

    166 IP, 15-9, 2.33 ERA, 219 SO, and 32 HR hit >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Judge's 28 more home runs.

Let's be honest — if Ohtani had hit 40-45 homeruns, he'd be unanimous AL MVP. The drop rate in HR has (ridiculously) hurt his case with the voters.

To be fair, Judge had an amazing, historic year. However, Ohtani's pitching exploits more than make up for the difference in their offensive numbers.

Lopez is a classless punk and deserves no respect. I guess it ended the way it should have. He ducked Loma rematch and lost his belts to a no name Aussie fighter. Loma doesn’t duck anyone. This is rare in todays boxing. Keep supporting punks and you will get the bull**** A side divas that pollute boxing. Loma will be sadly missed when he retires. He’s one of the few guys who never cared about padding his record with bums. That’s rare these days and will never be appreciated by brainless idiots like you. It’s cool, you still have guys like Tank Davis and so many others who would rather die than face a legit opponent.

So in Loma's third division, as said, his weakest one, one he doesn't belong in full of giants way bigger, heavier and longer than him this is how he set about his business right off the bat

No taking tune ups to try and settle into the weight even though he's tiny for it

Dre wouldn't go near any of the top dogs at 175 until he had a full year to settle into the weight even though he knew he would have home advantage, his obligatory home ref to allow him to fight to a set of rules he penned with his own hand and bring 5 weapons into the ring as opposed to the legal 2, very likely 2 or 3 home judges to bail him out if all the other advantages weren't enough to secure him the win legitimately, and he was the same size as all the LHWs he fought not 2 or 3 divisions lighter

No weakening opponents at the negotiating table trying to stack the deck in his favour and gain advantages be they fair or unfair

He fought all these giants at full strength with no catchweights or rehydration clauses

In complete contrast to his US peers he didn't have a single home ref or judge. In fact, he still hasn't to this day and if you don't think that matters I can assure you it does because he would still be undefeated if he had them like they do all the time across the pond

One of the three home judges scored his fight against GRJ a draw despite Loma beating the crap out of the later all night

One of the three home judges scored it for 119-109 for Teofimo even though Loma clearly swept the vast majority of the rounds in the second half of the fight

And one of the judges even gave two rounds to Nakatani even though it was a massacre and Nakatani never won a single second of the fight

Salido didn't have a single point deducted for any of his 50-60 low blows (over a third of his total punch connects) when he should've by rights been DQ'd. Had the corrupt as hell ref deducted just one point the fight would've been a draw

Korobov clearly beat Jermallo but one of the three home judges scored the fight 119-108 for the later

Then the three home judges robbed Korobov blind in his next fight against Aleem

Castano clearly won the first Jermello fight but one of three home judges scored it 117-111 and then in the rematch one of the.. yep, you guessed right, three home judges only gave him a round, another only two and they weren't just regular world title fights they were for undisputed.

They did the same for the undisputed match up between Taylor vs JCR. A home ref and three home judges

    At 135

Fight 1. Prime WBA champ Linares who was ranked #1 #1 and was ranked #11 P4P

Fight 2. Unification match up against prime WBO champ Pedraza which was a very tough fight indeed for someone coming back from shoulder surgery just seven months earlier and most fighters take an easy touch or much lesser opponent coming back from an injury and surgery like that, let alone jump into a unification match up against a highly skilled much bigger world champion

Fight 3. Mandatory challenger and former WBA champ Crolla after IBF champ Commey pulled out of unification match up with Loma due to injury

Fight 4. Unification WBC belt match up against prime Campbell in his backyard

Fight 5. Unification match up against prime IBF champ Teofimo in his backyard

Fight 6. Prime top contender Nakatani who KO'd Verjedo and gave Teofimo 12 rounds of hell, which again was a very tough opponent for someone coming back from shoulder surgery eight months earlier

Fight 7. Prime former IBF champion Commey

As said, if not for Commey pulling out injured his first four fights at the weight would've all been ones where new belts were on the line, the fourth being for undisputed, winning three individually and trying to win all four individually in a division full of giants.

Who is doing that in their second weight, let alone third on the road against giants?

Who is jumping into unification match ups and comeback fights after a loss after suffering very serious shoulder injuries and surgery to repair it just 7 and 8 months earliest against the likes of Pedraza and Nakatani both of whom are way bigger than him?

Dre fought Edwin Rodriguez in his first fight back after shoulder surgery and that was 10 months later not 7-8

Jarrett Hurd fought 24-6 domestic level Jason Welborn in his first fight back after shoulder surgery like 8-9 months later. Welborn lost to an 8-96-8 can a couple of years earlier

He could've easily ducked back down to 130 after grabbing the belt from the #1 ranked lightweight Linares like Twink did at 135 after cherrypicking the weakest champ at 140 in his third division, the WBA regular champ Barrios, but instead he dared to be great by trying to unify all the belts in his third division, one he doesn't belong in and where he's routinely giving away huge physical advantages, ones no one else in the P4P top 10 is terms of weight

He could've easily swerved his athletic phenom Boots Ennis ie. Teofimo who in addition to being way bigger than him also possesses vicious KO power in both hands, is or rather was the hardest puncher in the division, and is super athletic, explosive, and fast and skillful but he didn't. In fact, he fought him in his backyard with a home ref and three home judges after a 14 month layoff. Terry and Errol don't want no smoke with their murderous punching athletic phenom Super Boots and they ain't two divisions lighter than him and he's also from the US so they'll be fighting him at home not with a foreign ref and three foreign judges that came from his country if he was a foreigner

Teofimo could've taken his head clean off with either hand in the blink of an eye at any point in the fight if he made the slightest mistake. He iced the teak-tough never previously dropped or stopped giant lightweight Commey in just 2 rounds. Commey comes in at 153-154lbs, three divisions heavier than Loma

And now Loma is facing another undefeated very big 135 pounder in his comeback fight after an 11 month layoff when he could've fought a much lesser foe after the awful year he's had. Ortiz beat Shakur's second best win in his last fight whilst receiving zero of the fanfare he did

Who knows what Loma has left after this recent layoff and four months away from his 35th birthday

    Stephen ''Breadman'' Edwards

''I’m not so sure Loma beats Haney. Let me see how Loma looks vs Ortiz. I think Loma struggles with the size of lightweights. It takes him longer to break the distance. It takes him longer to break them down. He’s 34 now. I think Loma has been struggling in most of his fights since he emptied his tank vs the best Linares we have ever seen. Loma is underrated in terms of where he is All Time. He gets criticized too much for his 2 losses. He’s 13-2 in title fights. It’s absurd he gets criticized.

But in terms of where he is at this exact moment. I don’t know if he beats Haney or Shakur. There is no such thing as a 34 year old lightweight in their prime. If he’s able to beat them, it would be monumental.''

*Correction.. Loma is a natural featherweight not a lightweight and he's almost 35 with an extremely extensive amateur career and he's been doing very hard training for over 30 years, since he was a four-year old*

''I think Loma is in tough vs Ortiz. Very tough. I'm picking Loma to win but this is a tough fight. If Loma wins most of the rounds and stops Ortiz, I think it would go a long way in swaying the perception that he's slipping.''

Loma could've easily grabbed all those belts off Kambosos and sailed off into the sunset undisputed lightweight champion. Becoming undisputed has always been his dream but he walked away from achieving his dream in one fight against someone who would've been light work for him, winning them all in one fell swoop when he'd already fell short at the final hurdle last time after winning three individually but instead he stayed and helped out in the war effort for his country and he's not a young mam with time on his side either.

And remember when he moves up in weight he's actually facing bigger/much bigger or way bigger opponents, whereas, conversely many of his fellow multiple weigh champs were massive for their first weight class, some still massive for their second and they're facing opponents they're bigger than in their second weight class or at worst the same size as in their third. Terry is one such example.

And an awful lot of his fellow multiple weight champs are proven steroid cheats who artificially enhanced themselves to help them bridge the gap when they moved up

Shakur didn't make one defence of his world title at 126. He moved up immediately after grabbing the belt because he was huge for the weight and he lost his title at 130 on the scales after just five fights at the weight because he was huge for that weight class too. Twink lost his belt on the scales and has missed weight the first and second time of asking a bunch of times. Benavidez lost his belt on the scales. Haney looks like a vampire on crack on the scales at 135 and I'm sure he's on IVs or diuretics to help him get down that low. Loma looked healthy on the scales at 126 FFS and he's never missed weight the first, second or third time of asking in his career and he's had numerous long layoffs in his 18 fight career. Teo also looked like death on the scales at 135. He looked the same size as welter Conor Benn when they stood next to each other and Shakur looked almost as big as huge Super Boots

Put some respeck on Loma's name
