@Serge someone just liked my third-round card which read:

"No holding from Haney so far, very good to see. He also just landed a right uppercut to Loma's body, which is crazy. Loma lands some sharp punches in this round and it rolls into the last minute very much up for grabs. Holding has crept in, and both fighters have been warned for hitting behind the heads."

So if i'm as good as my word, probably there was more holding than I remember (Starting in the third) but still less than an average Haney fight (none or almost none through two).

Agree with this and he does have dog in him, he’s showed that during his career.

He did say he would be open to a hypothetical Inoue fight at 126. I think he could make it but he would have to put in the effort during camp to get to it, something he has not done in years (if ever).

That's dangerous. That's how guys hurt themselves, trying to make a weight they haven't made since their mid-twenties in their mid-thirties. I'm not saying it's impossible, because he is disciplined, and weight-making as a craft is still creeping onwards, but I don't think it's a great idea.

He'll pull his fake Muslim act and get them to rob Loma over there too

    He was for sure

Haney needs to fight someone his own size for the first time in his professional career. He knows he lost and when so many of his fellow countrymen fighters had him losing too it tells you all you need to know.

Loma was a clear winner for me. The commentary bias was insane, especially from Ward

Yeah like I said the octopus grabbing increased as the fight progressed and Haney was getting his ass paddled

I am not sold on the idea that cutting gets difficult with age, especially when you are in your mid 30s. Hopkins fought at 160 in his 40s.

Lomachenko has no bulked beyond his FW days. Willing to bet he weighed less than 140 fully rehydrated.

I didn't watch the US broadcast, I watched the international one, can't remember how they had it, it wasn't very intrusive. The Sky one, basically. There was no card on the screen or anything.

Haney needs to fight the top contenders in whatever division he can comfortably make weight in and deliver elite performances. He's doing his work inside the top five of that division which I love to see. If he fights Lomachenko or Shakur next he'll be maintaining that kind of company and win lose or draw, that's to be encouraged.

The only disappointment for me would be if he stepped up, and started matching half-marks at 140lbs.

Yeah, and it hurt him. The Taylor/Pavlik performances are night and day.

Everyone is different though, you never know.

He can keep weight bullying and clearing out 135 of all it's blown up 126 and 135 pounders, old men, shot old 126-130 pounders if he wants but he will never get a single ounce of respect from me or at least a fraction of the praise he receives from his repulsive groupies, who FTR have spent forever referring to Loma as a hype job, whose skills are trash compared to Haney and the rest of their hype jobs, and who Haney was going to toy with and expose him for the hype job he is and always was, until he starts beating world champions his own size, let alone bigger, much bigger or way bigger like Loma has done many many times.

    F him and them

I saw that photograph earlier, it is outstanding.

Gird yourself, because Haney is going to hit the p4p lists this week.

Loma on the scales weighing 135

Barely looks any different and he looks the picture of health

5lbs less would be a cake walk for him, 9 perfectly doable if he wanted to drain down

    It is. Shakur looks evil.

I know. Completely undeserved but that was always part of the plan with the fix

I'm going to terrorize his fans

Even the chicks look like they are gossiping about him.

If you have it close (like I did) it's legit. Loma is still in the p4p 20 himself based upon performances and results (including last night) and he's the lineal undisputed in what is arguably boxing's hottest division. If you don't see it as a robbery, and I expect most people who do this kind of thing won't (i might be wrong though and that'll be interesting this week also) he ranks p4p.

I didn't see the fight so I have nothing to say about it, but before this fight I believed Stevenson would crush Haney. I bet Haney ducks Shakur like Fury ducks Usyk.
