Loma is still too small for 135, the Pedraza fight highlighted this again

Damn at first i was going to argue against you and compare pac but then i visited boxrec and saw his reach at 166 cm whereas pac was at 170 cm. HE REALLY IS A TREX. His small reach could've been offset by his footwork but then he also doesn't have much pop whereas pac has enough. He really is at a disadvantge going up in weight.

 

Lmfao pure excuses, I guess he was to small at the lower weights as well when he got beat up by Salido?

I used to compete at elite level in a certain well known (underfunded) combat sport, and I dislocated my shoulder in fight.
Extensive physio followed and it’s still not right, anyway my first encounter with the physio I had to “hold my arms out, shoulder height”
The physio’s response “wow, sorry” and he scuttles off to his desk
I’m like “hmmm wtf.”
He comes back with his tape measure and measures my “span” finger tip to finger tip, then my height.
“I knew it” he said under his breath, my height was 5ft.9 and my span was 6ft.
Apparently your span is within an inch of your height 99 percent of the time. Random fact there haha

 

I must say Iam guilty of thinking loma looked the heavier, I know he wasn’t like but I thought he looked it.

 

So Micky vs Lomachenko at 135 might not be possible because the former is moving up to 147 to fight Spence.

 

for those of you americans amazed at the difference in reach between loma and pac, its 1 1/2 inches. act like you know.

 

Come on man you can’t compare pac had work rate, pressure, power, chin(fighting attributes only).
Loma has composure, slickness and angles like nothing else, he’s completely different, but his ability will only take him as far as his weakness will allow and that reach is just too short to go much further, he needs Mikey as that’s the only legacy fight that his reach and his size make a win possible, all the others are past the tipping point??????

Maybe maybe not, but lomas reach is more of a disadvantage than weight imo.

 

naah, just puttin 4cm in perspective. floyd had very close to a 13cm reach advantage over pac, now thats an advantage.

Iam a massive pac fan have been for over 10 years, also a massive loma fan.
I think talent wise loma is ridiculous (fell asleep rnd 3 Pedraza fight gutted) but I just think loma regardless of his talent has the biggest ristriction of any current champion, the reach he looks odd at times his arms are so short. Respect
