Pbf already moved through 5 weights and the man he schooled in canelo ggg went 0-1-1 against. Lmfao!!!
No excuses. Probably every true Loma fan ( unlike you) has always said he's not a lightweight. It's remarkable how well he's done at lightweight despite being undersized. Loma is a special talent, if he was gonna lose it was always gonna probably be cause he went up to much in weight.
He's great i never said he wasn't. I was just as shocked as you were watching that fight. But the fact is he was the ring champ at 135 and held multiple belts there. He was fine at 135 and beat everyone he faced there until last night.
GGG clearly beat Canelo. And what did Mayweather do as an amateur? Lomachenko Olympic Gold medalist x 2 ( in 2 different weights) Val Barker trophy winner World championship gold medalist x 2 European Gold medalist 396-1 record Undefeated in the WSB Joint fastest ever World champion in the pros in his 3rd fight fastest ever 2 weight world champ in his 7th fight fastest ever 3 weight world champ in his 11th fight P4P number 1 in both the amateurs and the pros. Lomachenko had an amateur career Mayweather could only dream of!! Mayweather was a mediocre average amateur in comparison.
Donaire recently did it, gave his career a boost. Thing is most guys only have power because they don't fight in their true divisions, aka weight bullies. Once they actually fight at their natural weight plenty of times their KO power disappears. So I would still favor Loma to clean out the lower weight classes if he really wanted it to. Or just go for the rematch, lightweight is still a viable place.
He was not 'fine' he was daring to be great. Look how he went through Rigo/Walters/Martinez/Russel Jr at feather/superfeather with ease! But the Linares/Campbell/Lopez fights were tougher cause ofthe size disadvantage. Some fighters have the frame to move through the weights and others don't.
True. Can't believe I forgot about donaire. Good call. I just feel he didn't get blown out so he should stay put.
Who gives a **** about an amateur career? What kind of amateur career did Lopez have? We are talking pro boxing here not amateur boxing.
