I hear these talks of Loma moving up

BUT to me he has unfinished buisness with the #2 @130 & a very viable opponent

    Alacran Berchelt

That bout has to be made. He is not a 122 or 125 moving up like Marriaga& Rigo

He is a HUGE 130 Pound, has good power + heart& will come to take Loma head off...

Obviously Loma would be a heavy fav buts it's an intruiging fight. I dont want to see him move up to fight Beltran & skip on Berchelt

Berchelt sucks. He was terrified of Miura. And he already ducked Loma.

Miura almost made him crap his guts out with those Body shots

He barely lost a round against Miura

Then what do you call what Salido did to Loma?

I agree.. Berchelt is a bit one dimensional but he's a pressure fighter so he might have some success against Loma given his size. Great matchup at 130 for sure.

5'5" Mikey Garcia can move back down to 130 if he wants a fight with the legend, Vasyl should focus on cleaning up 130, Nothing meaningful above 130

Sure Berchelt will try to take loma's head off.
But that's what the say about Walter and Rigo and we know what happens there.
Having said that it would be nice if a unification can be made. But the way Loma is operating now I'm afraid it would be another mismatch and please don't bring up Salido, that's like bringing Hopkins first loss whenever he has a challenge in front of him.

That would be a really good fight. Brechelt is the type of akward guy that gives better fighters fits, and he's better than Salido, but it won't happen.

He was terrified of Miura for good reason, he's an iron chinned brutal KO artist, he managed to do more damage to Vargas in 4 rounds than Berchelt did to him in 11 and Salido in 12, and it was kind of Miura who ruined Vargas for the last two. Miura stopped Roman brutally who just stopped Salido, Roman is tough as nails. Miura is a beast and had Berchelt lost focus for a few seconds, he could have been KTFO, Loma would also have to be ridiculously cautious with Miura as well. He may be a one dimensional southpaw battering ram, but like Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, he's a damn good one dimensional southpaw battering ram.

I'd like to see Lomachenko unify as well... In a sane world he'll achieve this feat next year, but I wouldn't bet on it. Politics will almost certainly get in the way of things.
