With a name like yours, I wouldn't think you would give Loma so little credit. Loma dominated a world class opponent and made it look stupid easy. You can make excuses about Walters' performance but maybe it was the sublime skill of Loma that made Walters look bad.

He is p4p 1 and has been for a while. There is no one boxing as good as Loma right now.

There's 4 in competition for p4p 1 based on the eye test.

    Rigondeaux
    Lomachenko
    Golovkin
    Ward

Chocolatito perhaps but he has proven himself against 0 A class fighter. Golovkin too hasn't got that but just based on eye test I think he looks better.

Easy way to settle this is rigo vs loma at 126 and ward vs golovkin. Chocolatito can fight Donnie nietes who is probably a Solid B level fighter.

Loma HATES a clinch when fighters tie him up he tries to yank free (waste of energy in my opinion but i like his style) while looking to the ref

How can Ward be P4P #1?

Let me ask you kids this question:
There are three fights on tonight. Roman Gonzalez is on one card, Lomo on another, and Ward
on another. They are all fighting good opposition....contenders.

Rank the fights in order of which fighter you want to see.

Ward comes in third, and don't tell me otherwise. He's not fun to watch. AT ALL.

I realize the mythical P4P title is about ability, but you cannot ignore the styles of boxers
when you make this list. Ward is a very good boxer, I like the guy, but he's not above
Chocolatito or Lomo on this list.

    I'd choose Ward second, actually.

Nice to see someone who can put things in perspective. Theres more emotional instability on this forum than a NOW rally.

I'd say Lomachenko is definitely top 10 P4P, maybe top 5, but definitely not #1.

He's close I's put him over Ward Loma boxed superbly gave Walters a boxing lesson. Ward head butted , elbowed , Clinched like a limpet plus sent a few south of the border in his "win" over Kovalev
Loma is on the very edge of #1 P4P. Really he is in a similar position to GGG, there is no one near his weight class to seriously challenge him
