Loma is a p4p talent and his greatest asset is his mindset . he isn't physically much more talented than a walters, he was squeaking by each round until the 7th where Walter's was mentally broken.

That was a horrible quit job, I've never seen a pro fighter quit like that, he wasn't taking a beating round after round. most rounds were very competitive . he's very weak minded.

This right here. I think he's potentially p4p king, but it's early yet.

I saw plenty elbow work by Loma against Waters.
I'm not complaining about it, it's boxing and both Loma and Ward are masters of it.
You need to man up and stop crying like a little girl when it comes to Andre Ward. Ok?

I can respect a slight difference in order between them, but I think my top 7 have to be the top 7 p4p. As I mentioned earlier, even if you try to measure p4p with accomplishments more than I do because you think it's more objective, dominance should be taken into account, which should keep Loma in the top 5 for sure.

    1. Lomachenko
    2. Rigondeaux
    3. Gonzalez
    4. Ward
    5. Kovalev
    6. Inoue
    7. Crawford
    8. Mikey Garcia
    9. Golovkin
    10. Estrada

Didn't you see Golovkin lose rounds and get hit a lot with clean, hard punches against Brook? I still like him and don't see him losing against anyone at middleweight, but I can't put him in my p4p top 6. Earlier in the year I thought GGG looked better than Kovalev, but Kovalev has showed a more and more sophisticated skill-set, while Golovkin has I think looked vulnerable. Also, Inoue and Crawford should pass the eye test and be at or just behind the top 5.

He is right up there, no doubt about it.

Robert Garcia says he's P4P no.1 over at the scene.

Agree to an extent. Some observations:
    - Mikey hasn't fought for a long time.
    - Rigondeaux needs bigger fights. e.g. Frampton / Santa Cruz. He'd whip those two.
    - Although I think Kovalev won the fight there is some justification in placing Ward higher, as he has achieved a lot at 168 and moving up in weight. Once again though, not enough fights.
    - Gonzalez and Inoue need to fight.
    - As dominant that Golovkin has been he needs a big name scalp.

You might rate Ward on that performance I don't. Ward needs to fight like a real fighter not a WWE stooge

Sounds exactly like, umm umm excuses because those are nothing but horrible excuses.

The ref "saved him" ? How was that ?, lmfao, the "ref let him fight dirty", you mean Loma couldn't do enough about it.

Oh, and missing weight is NOT a good thing, he was out of shape which is why he barely crawled through the finishing line,

Missing weight is not a bad thing? WTF has this forum come to? Firstly, Salido came in over the weight limit by 2.25 pounds over 126. Loma could have just said no fight, but he fought him anyway. Salido made no attempt to make weight because if he had, he would have been KTFO.

The ref is supposed to call the low blows, and there were a lot, an inordinate number. None called.

Watch the last round when the ref allows the continued holding and one time when Loma had landed a solid punch, Salido was hurt, Loma and was about to step in and land a combin and the ref steps in. Roy Jones even said that the ref was saving him.

But , the ref did NOT call them, so fight accordingly . being over weight is now a good thing ? being a 10 round fighter is good now ?

Stop the pathetic excuses, if Loma was remotely close to the fighter his fans are claiming you DON'T fight dead even with an OLD overweight salido.

that fight can't ever be lived down, Loma has to get him back into the ring and right his wrong , if he truly believed he could he would had certainly got him back in the ring by now.

Or is he waiting for salido to take a few more career changing beat downs ?

The question is, where is Ring Magazine going to have him?
It's either 3rd or 4th IMO. I would be shocked if they didn't have him above Rigo or Crawford. Rigo actually hasn't fought anyone since Donaire at the very start of 2013, that's almost 4 years ago!
Lomachenko's career started in 2013 and P4P does consider more recent work.

Lomachenko would've brutally KO'd Walters in the next round the same way he KO'd Walters. This was a psychological KO.

No you can't put him in Top 5, his loss and his resume. But the latter half yes. If he collects 2-3 more scalps then yes
