Loma schooling Rigo was worse than Rigo schooling Donaire

Rigo put an absolute masterclass against Donaire. But after seeing Loma doing an absolute boxing lesson with Rigo and demoralizing him to the point of quitting I think Loma did Rigo worse than what Rigo did to Donaire. Loma completely neutralized Rigo's best assets which was his counter left and footwork and just toyed with him. Donaire at least kept fighting and went th distance. Incredible.

Though the style with which Loma won doesn't make the fight comparable to Rigo vs Donaire at all, the way Rigo was demoralised was definitely the perfect dose of karma.

Watching Rigo outclassing guys with his skills and then watching Loma outclassing Rigo just shows you who the more skilled pure boxer is. Loma is the very definition of the term "sweet science". Hit and not be hit.

Never thought I'd see the day when someone out boxed Rigo bad enough to make him quit.

I made it a point not to hype it up too much beforehand because I viewed this as a fight Loma should've won from the start.

It's that he won like that that is tremendously impressive to me. Had he Margarito'd his way to victory, eating a lot of shots in the process, or something else directly attributable to size, that wouldn't have earned him much credit from me. Heck, I can think of a few scenarios where a win could've dropped his stock.

But to take away a sniper's accuracy like that, and to make a master ring general fight your fight that quickly? That was something else. The man hadn't lost in 14 years!

“B.. Bu.. But Rigo’s hand doe!”

“Rigo had jus too much of a size disadvantage doe!”

Checkout the stupid ass ‘article’ by whoever Williams is on the front page of this site. Lol! They are just making themselves look even worse now :) Their hope Rigo called CONSTANTLY for this fight and talked a bunch of trash beforehand. Skills won Loma this fight. Not size or an injured hand from hitting air and gloves.

He took away Rigo's left and Rigo's footwork so easily. There was nothing left of the man.

Sure Loma beat Rigo worse. Rigo and Donaire were similar ages and sizes. Loma vs Rigo was a total mismatch with Rigo being eight years older and 3 inches shorter. That's exactly what I expected last night to be.
