Loma is softer of course, he has been somewhat protected by his dad his whole life. Usyk grew up without father in rather rough place and time. That's it, that's who they are. Loma could not transcend this, even if he wanted to.
Loma fought with injured arms against Lopez. And it is well-documented that Loma underwent surgery two days after the fight. How do you think you would defend and last 12 round if you only have one fully-functional arm ? There is nothing wrong with how Loma fought. He is a prudent risk-taker.
Loma has tremendous heart and skill. Fighting much bigger fighters than himself at 135 and doing exceptionally well.
When Loma and Lopez did shoot it out in the later rounds it went Loma's way for the most part. He was ready for that. Loma bought the idea that Lopez was a big idiot who was coming to KO Loma early, then Lopez twisted that on him and it gave him pause. He dropped too many rounds trying to figure out what he was actually up against, misjudged how much credit Lopez would be given for being the aggressor, and then in the end Lopez was too good for Loma to win six straight rounds or score a KD/KO. In the end the cards were ridiculous and scandalous but I'm talking about why Lopez was seen by most to win a very close 7-5/8-4 decision.
Usyk is technically on a completely different level compared to loma, based on the height and mass. People need to understand that. If you would shrink fury down to a 5’11 midleweight he would get koed in 3 rounds by a guy like canelo.
