Fury has a 4% higher KO% than Usyk even though he's a leprechaun slaying giant who weighs twice as much as everyone he's fought And he only has a 12% one higher than tiny little 126 pounder leprechaun Loma who is a giant slaying leprechaun fighting opponents twice his size
If this thread is a comparison thread my honest opinion would be that Usyk has a better mentality for a fighter. I think he's more of a 'black and white' thinker, he's focused and nothing gets in his way and he won't think too long about things. Lomachenko, more skilled but more grey areas in his thinking, may dwell more on issues which could effect him.
Even as Loma fan, I have to disagree with this one. Usyk is better than Loma. That guy has everything, including killing punch that Loma does not possess. And he has more natural warrior badass mentallity than Loma. Loma, IMHO, is more like a boxing tactician or scholar.
P4P Loma would beat the **** out of Usyk. Usyk said it himselft. Usyk is lucky guy with very good skills and hard work. Loma is unlucky guy with great skills and hard work.
Loma the more talented and skilled boxer, Usyk the better fighter and battle hardened warrior with fighting spirit. P4P Usyk rates higher than Loma.
Yeah one fight was a Fight of the Year, the other fight, eh not even Fury fans are such masochists to even dare to replay it once. Klitschko lost that fight, cause he wasn't there mentally. At least for the AJ fight, he was not gun shy, and was ready for a war, and threw punches. And still Fury barely won by few rounds, and most was like literally 1 arm jab separate them. Fury was missing as heavily as Klitschko was hesitant to throw. Also Usyk is not a true HW, he is a true CW fighter. He even admit himself that he struggle to keep the added weight.
It's easy to "forget" how dominant prime Roy was. Especially since he fought on way too long. That said, if he would have retired after the first Tarver fight, he'd surely rank higher on all-time lists.
Loma has fought way more world champions in less fights than Usyk, fought the two division heavier reigning world champion Salido in his second pro fight, GRJ in his third, and was a three-weight champion by his 12 fight, whereas Usyk won his first world title in his 10th fight Loma has a lot more wear and tear on his body than Usyk given how he's been training like a demon since he was a freaking 4 y/o and obviously being nearly 35 years of age is very old for a natural 126 pounder. Loma has lost 3 fights in his life, in over 420 fights amateur and pro, and 1 of those losses shouldn't be a loss and is only so because of corruption rearing its ugly head One of the others was razor-close on most people's cards when he was injured against a way bigger and more powerful athletic phenom who was the hardest puncher in the division with vicious one shot KO power in both hands, and in addition to their huge size and power advantage they're also lightening quick, extremely athletic and explosive, and very skillful too. And the other was avenged x 2 So he should only have 2 losses in over 420 fights and he's only ever lost once to someone who wasn't 2 divisions heavier than him and he avenged that loss x 2 As said, Loma fought Salido in his 2nd pro fight and GRJ in his 3rd, Usyk fought Epifanio Mendoza and Ben Nsafoah in his 2nd and 3rd pro fights
I disagree. Usyk is a more complete fighter in terms of attributes, technique and fighting heart and spirit. As far as intangibles and spirt go it's Usyk by a landslide. In terms of physical attributes, Usyk has an absolute iron chin, more physical strength for his size. In terms of skill, Usyk has the higher ring IQ and better executes fight plans. He can fight at all ranges. Loma can't fight very well on the outside or off the back foot. Usyk is a more diverse, complete technician.
