since Sosa fought Gamboa tonight, I feel it would be very fitting that Loma fights Gamboa after Rigo for a tune-up/easy fight. A battle of what should of been versus what is. I would thoroughly enjoy that fight. Discuss.

    Gamboa would be utterly dismantled.

Gamboa should not fight anyone ranked within the top 15 at Jr. Lightweight he's done.

Loma last fight was against a guy coming off a loss and moving up in weight, now he's fighting a 37 year old who has fought one time a year for the last 3 years moving up 2 weight classes. Why would you want to see him fight a tune up next?

That’s still a really fun fight that I’d love to see. Loma wouldn’t let Gamboa hold like that on the inside like Sosa did, I see some vicious body shots and uppercuts putting Gamboa out.

From the start Gamboa was on Lomachenko's "want to fight" list. But now I'm not sure it would be a good matchup for him. Again it would be a lot of talks "the old Gamboa would have...".
It seems Loma should fight Salido next. And I'm quite sure it will be his next fight.

But isn't it a little bit too early to discuss the next opponent when the Rigondeaux fight is not over yet, by the way?

If Gamboa was forced to provide a rematch to any of his prior 15 opponents he wouldn't be favored to win against even 1 of them. That's how much he's deteriorated. He's absolutely shot.

I would say a Sosa rematch, but the horrible decision just makes me less interested in seeing Gamboa again.

Lomachenko would knock Gamboa out early, no contest! I think he wants to fight Salido next if Salido will fight him, but so far Salido has refused........................he also wants the other 130 lb. champions and even Mikey Garccia at 135....................Gamboa would get hurt, HBO's judges would not help him................

Remember when Gamboa used to ride with 50?

    Yeah man. Fun times.

Being realistic, it is the kind of fight that would happen. And it'd be better than Lomo's last fight. If he keeps an active schedule then there has been plenty worse. But there are bigger and more relevant fish to fry than Gamboa.

The guy Loma recently schooled had roid Gamboa holding on for dear life, on the canvas & getting an Oscar gift par excellence! Oscar is a plague in boxing. Guys fighters already have boxrec signed off, sealed & delivered! Gamboa was beaten by Sosa! Plain as day!!!

Lomachenko brutally sashimi's Gamboa, in an absolute massacre.
