What if i tell you that these fights will be brutal and Loma might have to pick himself off the canvass to win or has to overcome adversity.

Would you agree or do you still dreaming this will be an easy fight for Loma?

Loma turned pro late after being the greatest amateur of all-time, he couldn`t hurt Linares chin, but took him out with a body shot, up till then he to outbox him which is more difficult than knocking him out.

Loma has composure when flawed he has the same composure Floyd had, he always adapts and has an answer a total pro, Barrera got fustrated in his 1st bout with Pac and lost the plot.

If you have Pacquiao coming at you would lose composure too or back up and box.Pacquiao has that kind of effects on boxers.

Barrera didn't QUIT in that fight corner pulled him out. Loma fought quitters. Not elite champion material If you quit you don't have real champions heart in my book. These elites have the heart to make it a genuine fight. Let's be honest Loma hasn't been a real war.

Because no one can bring it to him make him fight every minute and second of every round. Except that Campbell lad.

Raheem also kept his rear hand high like Loma does protecting his chin, Morales didn`t seem to know how to move Raheem out of position so he could land past that defensive hand with his hooks and it would be the same with his right hand v Loma`s high active southpaw rear hand guarding his chin, plus Loma`s head movement is smarter than Raheem`s was.

Ledwaba was a lower P4P fighter at the time. He was much better than Linares, who is seriously naive defensively.

Not no chance but I wouldn't take any of them to beat Loma.

JMM never did well against boxers. Mayweather shut him out and Bradley boxed his ears off. He even lost to Chris John, who is a couple levels below Loma IMO. I think Loma would have done the same thing. Marquez is a first ballot HOFer but I think stylistically he'd lose to Loma.

Barrera was a great fighter but I think he always did better against more flat-footed opponents (like Morales, Hamed, etc). He couldn't deal with Pacquaio's speed in two fights and I think he'd have the same problems against Loma.

Morales is one of my favorite fighters but I still can't get the Raheem fight out of my head. Now maybe he is able to pull off a great perfomance like he did in Pac I and back Loma up, where I do think Loma is less effective. But I'd still have to favor Loma to win, probably by competitive decision.

    Dude, Lomachenko hasn't fought a killer. That's a fact.

No, Ledwaba just moved his head a lot but stood in front of Manny, Loma would have caught him much more than he caught the taller Linares.

Lol no he wouldn't. And it wouldn't matter, as he was a lower weight class. Linares is defensively naive after throwing a combo, which has been exploited by other opponents. Alot of Soviet boxers, including Loma, prefer to turn the angle and reset the exchange instead of punching with punches. That's why he caught and finished Linares with the body shot rather than a counter.

The only reason Ledwaba looks bad to you is because he's fighting a prime Pacquaio with every physical advantage.

If Hatton was that easy to predict in his prime, then Tszyu wouldn't have had such issues, and Floyd would have stopped him early, instead of having issues in the first half of the fight. Sure Loma's ring IQ is higher than Hatton's. I'm just saying, I could see Hatton mugging his way to a win against Loma at 140, if a fat Salido was able to do something similar.

Linares had a better strategy v Loma than Ledwaba did v Manny, he didn`t know what he was doing, he was predictable, I thought Linares fought smart v Loma and that it was a very good fight.

It's a pity HBO got out of the boxing game, because they could currently be building all of Lomachenko's opponents and future in opponents into icons and legends. Because name recognition, backstory, hype, a few 24/7's, people incessantly saying how special you are all the time carries you a long long way in the eyes of fans. Maybe that way this thread could be answered in the more level-headed fair and balanced manner.
