pac cant make 135. i think he can boil down to about 138 without losing too much. at 138 he stops loma inside 10, depending on how aggressive loma chooses to be. loma should not fight bigger guys with fast, heavy hands unless they lack skill.

Fight night weight is 149 I’m pretty sure he can get to 135. He just doesn’t want to, too much hard work. But it’s 12lbs to dehydrate by which is pretty much what he has to do in his younger years.

Pacquiao is not coming down in weight and he won't. If Lomachenko ever wanted that fight he would have to go up even if he could not make the weight, which is why he won't fight Pacquiao, and he fought him anyway his detractors would call for him to fight Crawford, Thurman, or Spence next. Loma turned that Pac fight down because he does not have the clout, fan wise or monetary wise, to get a superstar, ATG to come down to his level, like Oscar did for Manny.

It's better that we don't entertain this idea. I really don't mind loma not fighting Pac and Pac really doesn't have an obligation to face loma or anyone else for that matter. Pac earned his dues. I think Pac fans( i included but im no fanatic) are just triggered since loma fans claim that loma will beat pac while at the same time claim loma is too small. You just don't claim someone will beat anyone while either of the guys are willing to move out of their comfort zone especially if that "anyone" is someone like pac. That's like saying ward would beat ali even if ward has no intention of going up. That's just disrespectful to ali

Well tbh I think Pac will run over Loma, it will be one of his easiest fights with 0 chance of losing. Loma knows this and ducked but then made the excuse of he too old which is just lol bs. Why not just say he’s too big for me? I can respect that.

I think it's pretty much his point when he demanded pac to go down. He just worded it in another way

On one hand Loma says he doesn't want to fight him as he's too old, and on the other hand, Bob Arum says that fight never happened because Anatoly doesn't want Loma fighting at 140lb.

I always thought Loma would smoke this ancient Pacquiao but now I'm very unsure - they defo don't want that smoke so that speaks volumes.

It certainly does. Everyone has built their legacies off faded greats like a passing of the torch. Loma wants nothing to do with this torch and Pac's days are limited. It's actually astonishing that Loma is that adverse to a Pac fight.

Pac would easily be Lomas best win, so to dismiss the fight based on his age is disingenuous. There’s no way he beats Pac and they know it, Loma would be carved up and stopped inside 10.

yet when Loma v Pac was first mooted, people were saying exactly what Loma said when he gave his reasons for not wanting to fight him....strange that.

But he’s not too big for Loma. Size difference between Rigo and Loma was far bigger, there should be no issue.

Pac is a couple inches shorter and only thicker because he ate his way up to WW. He may have a slightly larger frame, but all round they’re roughly even in the size department.
