Totally agree m8, though Rigo should be ashamed of himself the way he quit.

I was so disappointed mate. I fell asleep last night and missed the fight. Been waiting all day for it to show up on the catchup on boxnation, so avoided the forum all day. Finally watched it this evening and he just quit...he wasn’t hurt (I don’t think) and he still had a punchers chance.

I know how you feel. Let down etc...:)
But in time ..".on mature reflection" as the politicians say ...you'll prob find it in your heart to forgive him. It was too big an ask even without the hand injury. If his hand REALLY IS hurt then that explains why he wasn't throwing his left, and also why he quit.
Be kind to Rigo, 20 :)

Haha, you have a point Len. I’m talking from my heart instead of my head. Rigo is a great fighter.

I would of expected Rigo to of put some proof up on social media by now of his broken hand.
I dont agree to the consensus that fighters should fight on with broken bones. No one would go into a fight with a broken hand, so i dont see why they should carry on with one.
I wish rigo would show us some proof

He did land some punches. Straight back hands and back hand uppercuts.

He never landed more than 3 shots in a round.

I think there was a rd or 2 where he may of landed 4 shots and to be fair it only does take one shot to injure your hand. But i hear what ur saying. Also there is a possibility its an injury he suffered in sparin going into the fight and either he kept his mouth shut as he need the money or he thought it had healed as it felt ok going into fight week, only to go quickly. The tendons and ligaments between the carpals and meta carpals are a common boxing injury that need time to heal but can feel ok after a week or so.
I dont know the truth to all this and the lack of medical info been released by rigo is suspicious.
Im not going to hang rigo just yet.

‘No more’ in Spanish, bud. From when Durán quit against Leonard.
