Loma can fight in the pocket. Pacquiao's hopeless in close. He has to lunge in all the time and get shots off. Loma ain't doing that. He will own the mid range and inside pocket exchange. I'd go Loma by schooling. But remember though Loma does have some chin problem and can be hurt to the body. You never know. But he should be too slick for Marquez.

Yeah, even Sanchez beats Marquez at featherweight, but any of them are far from "embarrassing " him, Marquez would've been competitive even in defeat.
Though it's not to the level of embarassment, Chris John did neutralize him, forcing him to go the distance. JMM tried to shorten the fight, but failed constantly. Most of JMM's clean shots are only to John's body but it didn't slow him down. While John managed to land clean shots through his quick counter mostly to JMM's face. The only person who was able to 'embarass' Marquez in his entire career is Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Loma isn't that slick at LW, is getting hit more and more. Is forced to come forward. Marquez beats him. Marquez had trouble with guys that moved, got on their bike like old Barrera and Bradley. But Loma is almost a pressure fighter at LW.
Yeah, people seem to forget Loma had a torn labrum in that fight which is an excruciatingly painful injury and renders your arm useless pretty much.
I'd say Loma is the favorite , but I'm not so sure it's as clear cut as many think, especially at 135. Marquez has the ability to hurt him.
Constant pressure because of his probing lead and teasing jab, his movement is very clever too, in and out, very hard to track as he comes in.
Marquez got hit far more than Loma gets hit, Loma`s defense his better, his head movement is so clever.
