Only a Mayweather fan would come on to a forum and describe that as a schooling. Yes, Floyd won and was never in serious trouble but he got stung in the 4th round. There is a reason he got knocked back and covered up.

Are you serious? I dislike mayweather big time, I even thought pac would beat him. I’m just describing what I saw, it wasn’t competitive at best you can make it an 8-4 type of fight which was what I had it. So when you consider you have a fight between two of the greatest fighters of their generation and it’s not eventful that is a schooling.

Pacquiao stunned him in the 4th and the 6th. The barrage of punches in those 2 rounds were the best punches landed in the fight. Neither guy did much, but Pacquiao edged it.

No matter what weight class it's contested in - Loma will be 138 in the ring and Pac will be at 148.

the only thing interesting in this fight is, when's the last time that Pac landed on someone 10lbs lighter than him???

He doesnt get the KO's at WW but he turns people's faces into mush. What on earth happens when he lands on a smaller man?

Lool Pacquiao edged what? I wouldn’t even call that stunning him, he caught with a decent shot but he hardly had Floyds legs stiffening up or wobbling. The fact of the matter is pac was the one who didn’t do what he usually does, mayweather made things as uneventful as usual.

    Nothing will happen.

Pac will be hitting air all night, and even if Pac manages to connect, that punch will be sucked right in to the Matrix, and Pacman will be in even more trouble.

Pacman aint Agent Smith, and Loma is Neo. You do the math.

You and I have completely different definitions of schooling.

The fight was uneventful. Neither fighters was truly hurt. Pacquiao landed the harder shots but Floyd controlled the fight with his jab. It's not really that hard to understand IMO. I don't see how Pacquiao was schooled, he was never hurt and never in any sort of trouble. No cuts or anything on his face. It was just an uneventful fight won by Floyd.

And no, I am not taking credit away. I am just stating how the fight went.

A schooling for me is when you dictate the pace of a fight, when you have the opponent tapping to your beat. For me it doesnt really involve hurting your opponent, mayweather rarely hurts elite guys and Pac is rarely hurt with the exception of the Marquez fights. Recent examples of schoolings are Ulysees vs Seldin, Billy joe vs Lemieux and Crawford vs Postol. Obviously mayweather didnt dominate Pac to that extend but it was a very comfortable fight.

Uneventful fight that Pac landed the far more meaningful punches in. Pac was the aggressor and he authored the only 2 sequences of drama in the fight and owned them both. Other than that, it was almost tit for tat. Pac touched Floyd plenty.

It was Manny's lowest out put in probably a decade. I aint a Manny hater btw, I picked him to beat Floyd and in terms of competition I think he has a better resume than Floyd when it comes to the quality of opposition. However that wasnt a competitive fight for me, Floyd pretty much took away Mannys high output except for one round.
