Bad, bad match up for KingRy. Loma would KO him. The chess master would solve the puzzle quite easily. KingRy would look more like QueenRy after getting hit right in the bullseye.

    Loma within 6.

Ryan would look like an amateur, not a good match for him.

I always believed Lomachenko would have beaten Garcia at 135lbs.

Of the four laughably dubbed "kings" at lightweight (Lopez, Haney, Garcia, Tank), I have long surmised that Garica would be the easiest match-up for Lomachenko. Garcia is simply too inconsistent, poorly disciplined, and lacking in the necessary ring IQ to handle the Ukrainian.

Nevertheless it's not inconceivable that Lomachenko wins the fight only to "lose" it on the cards to the more commercially viable opponent (see Loma-Haney decision).

Garcia's skills are a joke. Lopez, Haney, and Tank are the real deals, but should be fighting each other. I think Lopez has the potential to be an ATG, but this era hasn't been the best for fighters to prove that.

I've changed my mind. Loma is too small and old to compete. Ryan KOs him in 2024 if it took place. But it won't because Loma won't go above 135, and Ryan can't even make 140.

Ryan is too one-dimensional. His left doesn't work that well against southpaws anyway.
Devin got clipped and lost his composure, then spent rounds hugging. Ryan isn't beating Loma.

Haney out boxed Ryan from 2-6 but was never firmly in control of the action. He did have Ryan on the run at one point but struggled to do much when he was cornered

Loma struggles with fast fighters who can offset his athleticism. I would expect Loma to outbox him but could get caught. Ryan's right hand was pretty good last night too

He took Lopez's punches well enough. Ryan's left is faster than Teofimo's but Teo has the better straight right and uppercut.

True he did take teos shots well and teo can punch. Garcia might hit harder. Time will tell

Loma is small and shot and was scared of power punchers at 135 lbers.

I don't fancy his chances anymore north of 140 lbs vs a big puncher.

Garcia is always dangerous, but you'd have to fancy Lomachenko. Loma is too experienced and skilled, and doesn't have a weak chin like Haney

I’m a Loma fan but the size difference is too much and Loma ain’t getting any younger. After Kambosos, I’d like to see Loma fight Stevenson at 135. No way Ryan gets down to 135 and no way Loma gets to 140. His body is just too small. He should be fighting 130.

Prime active Loma at 135 even though he doesn't belong at that weight and is tiny for it against the much bigger Ryan? Er. Loma is astronomically more skilled than Haney who is more skilled than Ryan, Haney is just a massive weight bully who holds like crazy and who hadn't fought anyone close to his size or any prime legit punchers close to his size. He got thoroughly exposed the first time he did.

Loma is way too skilled for Ryan, has a way better offence and defence than Haney, and is one of the best combination punchers in the game. Teifimo is way more skilled than one-trick pony Ryan too

As for Loma being intimidated by power punchers at 135. Well firstly, he's one of the most aggressive elite fighters in the sport and has fought way more punchers than both Haney and Garcia and most of them were his size, bigger or way bigger than him and despite him being tiny for the weight he has hurt or floored every 135 pounder he's fought sans Teo who he was injured against and he had also been out for 14 months going into the fight which conveniently gets ignored. The only time he has ever fought reluctantly in his career was the the first six rounds against the much bigger massive weight bully Teofimo who also, like Haney, got exposed when he moved up closer to his natural weight. Loma is routinely fighting giants who are much or way bigger than him and he's fighting them on the road. Again, no one on the P4P top 15 is routinely giving away the kind of huge physical advantages he is. Usyk is the closest but he has only had 5 fights at HW

Yes Loma suffered a flash KD against a prime active much bigger Linares after getting complacent, who again he was injured against, but an old completely washed inactive Linares who hadn't fought in 15 month hurt the way bigger Haney much more who was very lucky the bell came to his rescue

And an inactive Luke Campbell who hadn't fought in a year and a half dropped a same same size Garcia heavily and hurt him badly, whereas an active much bigger Campbell couldn't drop Loma once. Yes Garcia stopped Campbell and Loma didn't but, duh, he's the same size as Campbell not much smaller and Loma fought an active Campbell in his backyard not on his own one and even then Loma dropped Campbell, hurt him badly numerous times and Campbell had to tackle Loma to the canvas and hold on for dear life to avoid getting stopped

Prime Loma is much better than Twink too and the fact Twink has been ducking him like crazy for seven years speaks volumes

Ryan can make 140 still. Dude just didn’t put the work in.
