Loma was robbed the judges are corrupt as hell, but I thought they would rob him if he didnt ko Huggies. Lots of guys who were picking Haney are saying Loam won, hopefully something will be done to these judges.
So I gave Loma round 1, 3, 10 and 11. Some have said that Round 1 should have been a Haney round, but we gave it to Loma mainly for the late flurry. Outside of 1, 3, 10 and 11, you would need to find 3 other rounds for Lomachenko in order to have him winning. (4 more if you give Round 1 to Haney)
I don't particularly like Haney tbf, I thought the shove at the weigh-in was classless. I was rooting for Loma, I just didn't think it was clear that he won. I was OK with the decision I didn't think it was a robbery or anything, but I get why people thought Loma won. Just trying to make sense of what happened.
In your eyes there weren't any rounds that could have gone either way? I think 3 or 4 rounds were close rounds. Flip 2 of those rounds one way or the other and there is a diffrent winner. To deny there were some close rounds is just biased judging.
Yep, do you think that’s why most pro boxers (ones not affiliated with the network) thought Loma won? Stevenson was there and immediately said it was a bad decision. It was in Haney’s hometown and the people still booed. I don’t think they were all Ukrainian fans. Maybe they were boxing fans booing legitimately at another corrupt bad decision.
Well Stevenson would have every reason to score it for Loma, to try and gain the mental edge over Haney and make him doubt himself as Champion. I think a lot of pro boxers appreciate the unique skill set of Loma, also probably were upset by the shove at the weigh-in, and the fact that Loma gave an inspired effort. It was an underwhelming performance by Haney, perticularly compared to the ease that he was able to dominate Kambosos, twice. I think that led to many fans, including myself, to overrate Haney and not give Loma much of a chance. At the same time, I also think that Haney didn't perform as well against Loma than he did against Kambosos. And surely that was largely because of how much better Loma is than Kambosos. But there could have been other factors as well. Maybe more distractions pre-fight, maybe weight struggles, who knows. In Australia I think Haney benefitted from being the outsider and not having all the noise and distractions in his camp pre-fight that he had in Vegas and going up against a big name like Lomachenko. I would be interested in taking a look at the press scores, to see if most of the press had Loma winning.
You're delusional. The vast majority of fans and fighters had Loma winning. Try and keep up and stop posting lies.
