I know, Kambozo got some gift decisions in his career The inside is Kambozo bread and butter. He's fast, and Loma isn't a tall jabber like Haney, Loma isn't very good at fighting on the backfoot. Loma also takes rounds off and isn't a big puncher. The fight is also in Australia. For some reason all the stars are aligning for Kambozo upset, but he isn't good enough to take advantage and outwork Loma cleanly. He will lose, but Loma will not look good snatching the victory
I think that the stars are aligning for Kambosos to win this fight he performs at his best when he is written off by the experts.
I dont think it will be so much about Kambosos winning as Lomachenko losing, should it happen. I know it's a fine distinction however this fight will only reveal what, if anything, Loma has left. Kambosos isn't anything special. Yeah, he beat a Teofimo that nearly died fighting with pneumomediastinum. Aside from that he received a questionable win against Hughes. Loma should handle him even past his sell by date.
Loma looked good against Haney who out weighed him by nearly 30 pounds, 165-138. Kambosos wont have that advantage and there does not exist a style Loma has not seen in his over 400 fights. The only way Loma loses is if he gets old overnight(or the judges screw him), which is unlikely given that he takes care of himself and has an unparalleled training routine.
Loma's gonna take 8 rounds off then wonder why he lost and start crying smh. Joking aside, Loma should have then in the bag, he just needs to cool it with his arrogance, stay locked in, no showboating, no cries of mercy, just box.
Kambosos is few levels below Loma. The gap in boxing skills is huge. Kambosos is no better than Micky Ward, a tough but extremely limited fighter.
I don't see Loma losing this fight even if he gets old overnight. Not against Kambosos. The judges and the referee are the only thing that Loma's team should be worried about. In a clean fight Loma beats Kambosos 10 times out of 10 even now
