If you think Loma could have beaten Floyd you don’t know **** about boxing. What we do know as a fact is Teo took short money despite being a world champion to beat Loma with relative ease. Please don’t bore me with BS that Loma was injured. Sincere question for you. If Loma had won would he be giving Teo a rematch?

I think Floyd was a much harder puncher at 130/135 a master blaster with his combination punching. See what he did to the great Diego Corrales. I personally don’t think Loma would have beaten Corrales and a host of fighters from the past. I know Uncle Azumah Nelson would have stopped him. Loma was a great fighter but please don’t let us overrate him.

Lad, I never said Lomachenko would beat Mayweather, I said you don't know **** about boxing. Something which has been proven time and time again. As it happens, I don't think Lomachenko beats Mayweather; I actually think a Mayweather stoppage is more likely than an outright Loma win but I don't agree to the idea that Mayweather has no issues with Loma at any stage of the fight and walks away with it. Lomachenko is a highly skilled, extremely talented pressure fighter and a southpaw to boot. He has the ability to get inside, the ability to outwork Floyd and trouble him late, and his excellent lead hand would make sure he could get his shots off. He has a very good style to trouble Floyd even if he isn't quite good enough to beat him.

wHAt We dO KNoW... man stfu  What we do know is Teo threatened to pull out of the fight claiming his end of the purse was too short, "I gotta eat" (as if 1.5m isn't more than enough for a 23 y/o) and Loma gave him a portion of his own purse to make the fight.

Do I think if Lomachenko beat an injured Lopez on a close decision after being GIVEN a position of Lopez's purse would he give him a rematch? Yes. Especially if Teo was a top three pound-for-pound fighter at the time. You'd be completely deluded if you think otherwise, tbh.

Hey George son listen to your elders you might learn something. I have forgotten more about boxing than you will ever know. Floyd would spank Loma easy work. I was initially responding to the person who started this thread but if you want some of that work you can get it. No I don’t Loma would have given Teo a rematch in the circumstances outlined. As far as I can see he never attempted or solved his Salido problems. Say what you will about Floyd but both Maidana and Castillo got immediate rematches.

You're a dense bellend who everyone laughs at. I do respect my elders, always have done. I just don't respect you. As for you thinking you've forgotten more about boxing than I'll ever know, I'll simply smirk and move on because it literally just proves my previous point. I can "get this work"? Give it a rest you clown.

You should look harder, as Lomachenko did try to get a Salido rematch. For years. If you want to see, just Google something like Lomachenko vs Salido rematch and look at the floods of articles. Anyway, Mayweather giving Maidana and Castillo is a complete false equivalency. Mayweather won, and so was in a position to give the two of them a rematch. He was hardly begging them for one, was he? Whereas Lomachenko's position is completely different, and would only be an applicable analogy if Loma had any close decisions which demanded rematches and they never got one.

Lomachenko, and like 99% of fighters, would give Loma a rematch should he be in Teo's shoes.

I see you have not graduated from remedial class son. I don’t respect you but you feel the need to engage me on the points I make even though it was not directed at you. From my perspective you are the same level as ****. Harsh words but true. Loma ****ed up against Teo live with it and the truth will set you free. Teo and his Dad knew what they were doing. I predicted Teo would win and you Lomasexuals have never got over the loss.

I'm confused! So you want to suck a bum off while Teo and Loma watch. Wrong site for that nasty talk.

It's a forum you ****ing ******, of course I'll comment on your posts if I disagree with them. That's what a forum is for

Your perspective means nothing. A man whose most interesting aspect is lying about who his uncle is has no relevance on any subject.

I hope you know, I'm a bigger Lopez fan than I am a Lomachenko fan

Loma feints better, probes better, is a better mid-range fighter, better combination puncher and so forth so on....

Floyd Mayweather Jr is a better counter-puncher, better outside boxer, better pot-shotter and so forth so on...

There's not much in it between the two. It's a 50/50 fight if we're being realistic1

Floyd is the superior ring general and better all round. Floyd would not have lost to Salido or Lopez in fact he beat better fighters than both. Even Cool Hand Luke Campbell had his moments against Loma and Linares floored him.

    No

He is not more skillful. That is ridiculous. Floyd has much more tools. All Lomachenko is better than Floyd at is slipping into angles and pressure fighting.

    Close fight.

    Prime Floyd was at 130.

    Prime Loma, 126.

At 130, Floyd takes this nine times out of ten....116 -112 or 115 - 113 kind of scores.

Floyd Mayweather Jr arguably lost to Corrales and Marcos Maidana in the1st fight, in his home country of USA. These things don't matter to me. I'm comparing their skills, and my initial point stands. Both have pros and cons. Neither is a PEFFECT fighter. And they match up well based on their strengths and weaknesses,

And for the record, Lomachenko's performance against Luke Campbell is as good a performance you'll see on how to beat a top-level opponent who has the significant height and reach advantage.
