Consider Lomachenko's perspective: Tank has been ducking him for years and now Tank is in his prime and Loma is well past his best, Tank is seeking a fight. Loma doesn't need the fight and is reversing the previous situation. Loma also knows he'd have to knock Tank out to have any chance of winning. If you objectively look at Loma's fights, he hasn't lost and he doesn't really have anything to prove.
If Loma wants to retire then okay. But if he keeps fighting and it’s anyone other than Tank, it’s a straight up duck. Funny to see all these Loma fans cook up excuses for it.
Well, you can duck someone after he's been ducking you. Fury ducked Joshua for years, but AJ ducked him in 2023. Doesn't cancel out.
All I know is that all of them hot names are on the same ****ing division for a long time, guess who fought the least top names there? Who went up divisions just to not fight any of them? I tend to judge behaviors based on history, Loma's history doesn't scream ducking. Tank unfortunately does.
Yes, the old, 'age the top EE fighter then lure him into a big-fight trap' routine. Unfortunately it always works too. These guys are too greedy.
Shakur has alos called out Loma for about year now and he makes no move to face him either. If Tank and Shakur face off against each other and Loma faces the winner I'm ok with that, though, since we still get the fights. If not he has plain ducked the two best fighters he could have faced. Those that are excuses Loma now would froth at the mouth if it was, say, Canelo doing something like this.
He said that he was fighting only because of his father He don't have a motivation to continue to box and I don't blame him. He should be undisputed champion by beating Haney
