This is awesome yet surreal seeing them together! They both talked a bit of trash lately, which gave me the impression that they weren't serious about making the fight. But it's evident that they both hugely respect each other. Props to Mikey for approaching Loma like this, he especially looks like a complete class act. I've been excited for a Garcia-Linares fight and thought it should happen at the end of the year, but Loma-Garcia is simply the best fight in boxing and if they can make it next it takes precedence. Both guys want it, I think it's going to happen!

 

Loma has seen the likes of Mickey. I can't say the opposite. The only advantage Mickey has is size.

 

Im sorry if i miss understood but since Lomas english isnt the best i think he meant that Mikey wasnt busy enough early and was just loading up on shots. good interview.

 

I think Loma's output would nearly be cut in half in this fight. There will be rounds where Lomachenko has no option other than to fight at Mikeys pace. I think Loma takes this fight but struggles throughout and gives several rounds away.

 

Mickey is a first act guy always polite trying to sell the fight he wants not sure if Bob wants it lets see if Loma could put pressure on him.

 

He was questioning Mikey's low work rate and being overly careful in the early rounds. Not his speed.

Impressive that Mikey would reach out like he did.

 

Mikey looks to have the size in his favor.

Both seemed mad chill.

Surprised either, and both, promoters allowed them to face to face each other.
