    A fighter with no high-level experience in boxing is offered a chance to fight the world champion.

    In the fight, he makes it a very close contest. One judge scores it for him, and the other two score it for the champion.

    The difference is that people all became fans of Rocky, whereas Lomachenko gets all sorts of hatred. WTF? :think:patsch

    Rocky was in his mid 30's and had over 40 fights. He spent years scratching and clawing in the sport. Loma had 1 official pro fight and was handed a title shot on a platter. On top of that, he was a big favorite. He's nothing like Rocky; the ulitmate underdog.

    I don't remember Rocky being a 6-1 favorite by some oddsmakers.

    Rocky wasn't in his mid 30s he was only 30 he didn't have 1 pro bout either fighting another 3rd rate hack fighter.

    You're an idiot. Rocky had 20 losses before he fought Apollo. He wasn't a HUGE betting favorite. And it's a fcuking movie.

    Laurence Cole won the fight for Salido. Lomachenko out landed Salido, remember Salido landed most of his blows on Lomachenko's legs, hips, balls, etc., not to mention hitting on the break, and all the talk about Lomachenko holding, well...........Salido held on for dear life in the 12th round. Laurence Cole is an idiot, the worst referee in boxing, appeared to be on the take, this is not the only fight Cole has ruined. Lomachenko should file a protest. If all the low blows are OK, then they should reverse the decision of Bowe/Golota.........

    Golovkin is skilled, good chin, not easy to hit, punches very hard, will go to chavez' body, and knock him out!!!
