Lomachenko, does he deserve the hype or not?

    imo he does, hes one of the best ive ever seen. but a lot of people dont think so. your thoughts?

    He's not the best fighter in the world p4p. Not even the best fighter from his own country right now. He's not overhyped cuz he's legit, but he's not this boxing god that everybody says he is. Probably the best fighter under 147 pounds right now.

    But people act like he's run through ATG's and thrashed Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales in their prime. People need to calm down a little.

    Loma is solid and will go down as one of the best talented boxers of all time

    I wonder how he would fare against the likes of Pac, Morales, Barrera and Marquez in their primes at 126-130

    Too bad.... He didn't face those warriors

    I think the hype is warranted... I'm interested to see how the rest of his career goes... He's fantastic to watch and no denying he's amazingly talented... Think it's a shame he wasnt a pro around 15 years ago at feather where he would have some true atgs to test his metal against.

    He's the real deal. I only hope other P4P threats can emerge from his weight ranges and we get those fights made so he can build a resume more in line with his talents. It's a damn shame the Mikey fight didn't come off, as that fight for lightweight unification would've been huge.

    I think his style and skills are revolutionary. In 30+ years as a fan, I've never seen a fighter with his unique physical skills that combine speed, footwork, angles, aggressiveness, boxing sense... He may not be the best p4p (top 3 surely), but I have a feeling that we're somehow overlooking how special this guy is. He's not unbeatable, but he's such a unique package. I also think he's fighting at least one weight class higher than what suits him. Enjoy him well he's here.

    No.

    Overrated in the sense of 'OMG LOMA IS AN ATG BEST BOXER EVER DOES THINGS IN THE RING NEVER SEEN BEFORE WOULD BEAT LEGENDS'?

    He is good but seriously a lot of people need to calm down a few notches.

    He is far from an ATG at the moment, but depending on competition, he could go down as an ATG.

    With that said, fighting Crolla and then Camplbell is a complete waste of time for someone of Loma's level. This guy should be fighting the best of the best right now...

    He is in his prime and not elevating his resume with these bum fights.

    Saw him get outclassed vs Siri
