Rigo showing his true colors. YELLOW! In the form of a stripe going down his back.

He didn't stick around to fight Donaire, he's always been there. Maybe he could make 118 but let's stop treating him like a fighter of a weightclass he never fought at before, he made his name and success at 122 and that's where he always fought.

Rigo already is the real champion in his division. Lomachenko is ranked 9th in the division above Rigondeaux. Fighting Rigo wouldn't make Lomachenko champ of featherweight. It might make him champ of Super Bantam if he cuts weight to fight Rigo at 122 lbs.

I hope this fight can still be made best fight in boxing IMO if it ever happens.

  5. I ****ing love this kid... No bull**** with him! He wants the best & he wants them now! This fight gives me serious wood! Bigtime! Lol he is all that is right with boxing.. Come on Rigo, accept the challenge & get your jaw shattered like a man! I literally can't explain enough to the casuals just how mythical these two were in the amateurs & how gifted they are in so many departments! It's an insane fight...

    :deal

Big mouth for a guy with 5 fights and that lost to salido. It seems that what people like nowadays is guys calling out smaller guys and running away from equal size/bigger guys. Pretty lame.

  7. Yeah pursuing the great Rigondeaux is so lame... Why do guy's always pick on smaller fighter's! Floyd should be disgusted pursuing (eventually lol) Manny over the likes of Lara & Andrade... Anybody really think that any of those bigger fighter's Floyd has fought add to his legacy more than the Manny win? Lol ****ing idiots...

The irony is lost on you hypocritical Walters fans too when making these dumb comments isn't it?! What are Donaire & Darchinyans prime weights again! Hahahaha

Only a mug would complain about this fight!

Exactly, Rigo has always fought at 122, and will not be campaigning at 126. He's only entertaining fighting at 126 because Lomachenko called him out. If you followed any of Rigo's interviews or boxing history he would rather be fighting at 118, but there are no big money fights at the weight class. He's been calling out Frampton, Quigg, and Santa Cruz who are all bigger than him.

Lomachenko at this point in time is just an ABC belt holder at 126. He really is the best in the weight, but until he proves it it is just speculation. He already lost to Salido, he won't be Ring champ until he faces Walters (tough task), his WBO title isn't highly reputable, nor is he unified. Right now he doesn't offer Rigo a whole lot on the greatness factor because Loma isn't officially the man at 126 yet. So right now this fight is about money and with Rigo at the undisputed champ at 122 you have to favor Rigo as the A side in this fight.

Loma has anywhere from a 10-12 lb advantage on Rigo. Rigo as the A side and the smaller man has a right to ask for a catch weight or re-hydration clause to even things out. I'd rather see Rigo lose to Loma on skill and tactics vs weight.

Yes, it is lame. You dont want to make it lame? do it in a catchweight, no belts ofc, a fair fight. Oh! no! no! no! no! no way! LAME, I repeat, L A M E.

I dont like catchweights, but at least, if a boxer calls out another boxer, the least he can do is to go up/down to the other boxer's weight. Because it's LAME to do the oposite, klischtko, for instance is scared of fighting me at 154, everybody knows it. L A M E.

Yeah but vs Piriyapinyo around 8 months ago, he was 132lbs.
Think...Donaire was 139lbs on fight night. No one was complaining about that.

Why should Loma fight the AVERAGE Walters? Who is Walters? Walters doesn't have the title anymore, he's just a guy too fat to make weight. Prove you can make weight, get a title and then you'll land the Lomachenko sweepstakes.

Lomachenko doesn't really care about money fights, he wants titles first, and then wants all glory.

Rigondeaux is to 122lbs as Mayweather is to 147lbs. Mayweather could fight at 140lbs, but Mayweather wont be as strong at LWW anymore, compared to 147lbs. Go figure.

Rigondeaux is arguably TBE at 122lbs, if Lomachenko beats him (especially if he weighs less than 10lbs more than Rigo on fight night), this is an ATG win.

    Rigo - Fenech - Gomez are TBE's at 122lbs.

Lol, who's walters? I tell you, walters is NOT a guy with 20% lost ratio in his record. Who's lomawho in pro boxing?

  13. I'll fight you...

I am training in new Zealand with Akexey Ignashov at the moment, I usually incorporate knees & elbows but I'll make an exception & kick your **** within the framework of boxing! You can come to my next show & we can do a face off to build the hype if you want?
