Lomachenko Fires Back, SHREDS Mikey Garcia and His Wins

I'd say what makes him unique is his mastery of distance. He can control the range like no-one else and that's his main defence. He's also an excellent counter-puncher with speed of hand and feet who can walk his opponents into traps.

Those skills are not unique and are on display by basically all elite fighters.

 

To different extents. I'd say his capabilities are far higher than his comtemporaries.

All fighters have a jab but very few have one like Larry Holmes.

 

Yeah, but Larry Holmes jab has been tested on greats and proven to be great.

 

Agreed - but Loma has already sonned a couple of very good fighters and looked imperious doing so. Unless he moves up too far in weight, I don't see him losing in the next couple of years.

 

Not at all. Loma is Bob's son. Bob gives Loma whatever he wants.

But all this is academic. Mikey will run from Loma. Mikey showed in the Salido fight that he doesn't have the heart to keep going when he's being outfought.

 

I think that Loma is an excellent fighter and I don't wanna do a hatchet job on his competition as a pro but what he has done at this point is good but not great. Now if he moves up to 135 which I don't think he will have a problem with it being that he is listed at 5'7" and knocks off Mikey and Easter, he will get big props from me and I will have no problem with branding him as a special fighter with greatness in his description.

 

I think Lomachenko would beat Garcia, just too fast, has power, angles, lateral movement, hard to hit, great chin...................he beat Salido, but was cheated by Lawrence Cole, but clearly beat Salido. Salido has refused to rematch him, for a reason.............

 

See I would like to give my two cents but there's such babies on this board, the slightest bit of negativity you call out on certain fighters sparks crying so I'm just going to keep my mouth shut.

 

In my opinion, perfect combination of skillset, experience and athletic ability. He operates on a very
high level in the ring. A level seldom seen.

 

Loma fought more faded versions of both Salido and Martinez. Salido is supposed to be trash for a young stud like Lomachenko.

 

Loma does that hands down step around jazz too much for a dude like Mikey, he would touch his jaw up.
