He ducks one of the bigger paychecks of his career only to be poetically retired by The Bomber Left. :!:

:zzz Go to Hell , stupid, little pot head! Tell us all how Cucknelo's career is on even terms with Ward again. Everyone knows why you pander to Salido at Lomachenko's expense.

    Little Pot-Head?

I liked Loma, and still do, but is he seriously going to low ball Salido?

If he wants to live with that loss, or be in denial, that's on him, I'm just stating that it makes him look bad if he isn;t willing to even consider negotiating with Salido. :deal

It can also be argued that Loma does not want to take a chance on a second loss vs Salido.

This is probably the main reason Money Bob Arum doesn't care for the fight.. Too much risk, and the consequences will undoubtedly hurt his pockets. :deal

Since the first match could have easily been a draw and even with all the fouls and corrupt ref Loma still took over in the 2nd half and almost stopped Salido late, its HIGHLY doubtful.

Exactly. Based on the "take it or leave" it offer from camp Loma, I'm guessing they decided to look for an easy win somewhere else.

Salido does have the Psychological advantage, so you never know. What we do know is that Loma's camp obviously do not care for fighting Salido again. :deal

You can also easily argue that Salido is 3-0 in his last 3 fights and deserves purse parity based on that and the win vs Loma.

In regards to the rematch, I'm with you here, IMO Salido has too much mileage and is too much past his prime to beat Loma again but that is not a sure thing. You can never count someone like Salido out, therefore still a risky fight for Loma.

Loma just KO'd cold a guy Salido went life and death with twice, keep telling yourself that. If you think Lomachenko hasn't improved as a pro tenfold since his SECOND match against one of the roughest customers in the sport, that he probably should have drawn against, then maybe this sport isn't for you.

He'll fight Salido eventually, he wants revenge, and beats Salido decisively in the rematch.

And I say that as a Salido fanboy who picked Salido to win the first match.

The rest of the La Raza crowd will show up soon enough. They are all arm chair C.P.A's for Latino boxers rather than fight fans.

Arum is a cheapskate and yeah Salido deserves a decent payday, I love Salido, and I don't want him to fight Miura, even though it'll be a FOTY contender, Miura stylistically will be a nightmare for Salido, and will probably end up KOing him, no one walks down Miura, not even Vargas, you're literally asking to be KO'd.

Salido may have a slight chance in a rematch but I doubt it. And for the record I scored all 3 of Salido's recent matches for him.

You're comparing a teams confidence in winning a rematch versus how a promoter or network views a resume in regards to purse payout. Not really all that relevant.

A lot of Mexican fans are casuals, you can tell my the ridiculously skewed fan scorecards they throw to on Golden Boy cards, regardless of how competitive the match is the Mexican guy is usually always ahead.....by a mile.
