Lomachenko recieved his Fighter Of The Year belt yesterday out of the hands of editor and chief Doug Fisher. WHAT?! you might say. Loma FOTY and not the obvious choice Usyk?! Turned out this is for the 2017 Fighter of the year award, not the 2018 version. They're just a bit behind the times over there at GBP/Ring headquarters. Anyway, gongrats Loma and I hope they don't wait until December of 2019 to award it to Usyk.
