It’s a very valid argument. You want to open a thread throwing guys like Floyd into the fray. Floyd never was getting hit with multiple punch combinations and getting put on his ass. Why do idiots always try to nullify common sense. Regardless of what you idiot fans like or dislike, the main goal is to hit and not get hit. Lomachenko believes this as well.

Not getting hit or caught is a very basic concept that spans multiple mediums such as war or lessor forms like dodgeball. Even in everyday tasks such as driving. I don’t understand why the simplest of notions is not grasped. I think we need a purge because some of you were clearly by nature’s accord not meant to survive.

I think you were given too many trophies you did not earn so you don’t understand why L’s matter and why getting hit is a legitimate argument or concern. Please do not breed. Luckily I suspect OP swings a certain way so chances are you’re not successful with natural procreation which is the only positive I can take from this asinine thread. Thank you for your time and may god have mercy on some of you poor souls.

You missed the 2 rounds where Pacquiao stunned him and ripped off combinations that landed to the head and body. I know you gathered around a stolen laptop with your homeless buddies and saw the fight on an unreliable stream, but still.

And you, unsurprisingly, missed the point of this thread.

    Triggered!

I don't know really, it's a 50/50 fight as far as I'm concerned. Even a beyond past it Pacquiao will be dangerous for Lomachenko. What's your pick?.

Never said he has to fight with him nor am I comparing records, no one half sane can deny that Lomachenko's resume isn't only impressive, it's insane. Just mentioning what some of his deluded fans say these days about him being invincible and all. It's fine to hype, but when it hits toxic levels it becomes annoying.

You make some valid points. In fact, last week, I offered a similar take in another thread. I wrote :

The assertion that Lomachenko "gets hit too much" is patently absurd. Heading into the Linares bout, Lomachenko was rated the number 1 defender, statistically speaking, by Compubox.

    https://www.*******.com/compubox-statistical-update-lomachenko-now-1-defender--123336

Is Compubox the "be all and end all" of defensive metrics? Of course not, though it is worth considering some of the other shifty, well known defensive operators also on the list (Lara, Rigo). Surely no one would suggest that Rigo "gets hit too much," so there is some merit to the ranking. More importantly, our eyes tell us that for a guy as offensive minded as he, and who stays in range (in the pocket) as often as he does, he doesn't get hit very much at all.
