no because we most likely have a good documented record and not a random number that is given by some promoter. I really suggest you just go to your local boxing gym and you will actually understand how this all works.
Yeah you do seem to chill to much on boxing boards, instead of gyms. If your local gym has active amateurs then you will understand how unrealistic lomas record sounds.
You don't have the wisdom, or humility, to see what you say has nothing to do with am records. But since you are pushing it, you must be some experienced gym rat, and therefore, your opinion is mustard. jesus f'n christ.... And again....you try to some to me about arrogance when you have nothing, and shown nothing, other then trying to sound like you are some seasoned amateur boxer. So.... WHAT fights do you think Loma actually lost as am amateur? I mean, you gotta know since you are the one stating his record is bogus, right? Otherwise you're talking outta your ass, and surely you aren't doing that, yeah?
Dude i even posted my first amateur fight at 15 on here, so stop with that bs. That dude chacal understands what I mean, you dont even need to have a single amateur fight to understand how unrealistic that is. Amateur boxing is full of dipshits, there is often nothing on the line, so they just rob fighters of victorys, cause no one cares any way.
Cool. I hope you had a memorable am career. Chacal is a **** poster... might be right once a blue moon. But hey, a stopped clock is right twice a day. You aren't saying anything that doesn't apply to pros.
So? That's only 1 round. He looked poor once Loma turned it up. Avoiding a rematch makes him look like a coward, who knows that he'll lose if they fight again.
If it is not high level torunament then definitely no one cares. Ammy accomplishments still are judged with medals and cups boxer had. Pro boxing is more honest? Especially in non tittle fights? I hope you are joking. One from most entertaining thing in professional boxing are refs and judges. It is entertaining. I too do know how a pro boxing works, especially in small and medium size promotions, events. There is A side guy and B side guy. To get $ they need tickets sellers. It is lucrative to get a tickets seller look good, this helps him build fanbase and sell more tickets for next event, then next event. Therefore matchmaking and not rarerly they have also short notice opponents. Boxer is a product. To sell for public boxer, he needs to look impressive and to have good looking record. I do not talk even about top levels. U do have local star and u will prefer that he does have 5-0-0 record not 3-2-0 record. Definitely and sure. Of course refs and judges are different, not all are silly. LoL, robberies in pro boxing happens a lot and is common thing. Till stuff that local fans are laughing: now our prospect will fight with someone. Who will win? Ohh, no question, if he will not be knocked out, he will get a least a draw. Of course not always this happens, sometimes they lost on cards. Rarerly. Draw for 6 rounder where A side guy lost 4 rounds. Draw for 6 rounder where A side guy had won only 1 round.
Yeah. Psychological factor too plays a lot of role. U are in some city, there local fighter is advertised as good. Ppl are talinkg how promising and good he is. Then there is some stranger vs this guy. It is normally from psychological impact that you initially think that this advertised fighter is better. This works well in local pro and ammy scenes with a glance. Ammy with 100-20 record is good ammy.
Speaking for myself I don't have a "my guy". Crazy i know. Secondly Who said they didn't want to see the second fight? I don't need to accept Lomas excuses to justify wanting to see a rematch. How do you make this leap in logic?
For all the talk of Loma's IQ he didn't even attempt to switch things up and push the action until passed the time he needed a KO. Overrated.
It isn't verifiable. A 396-1 record is highly questionable. Doesn't mean I dislike the guy. I'm surprised it's not questioned more. I suppose people want to believe that he's this high IQ, data collecting, super computer.
Usually ppl evalue ammy achievments only by high level accomplishments. Like: Rigo: 2 Olympic gold medals, 3 World Cup. Lome : 2 Olympic gold medals, 2 World championship gold medals. This is impressive and I do not think there had they 85 fights each or 800 it had made difference.
