Lomachenko is great, but he ain't beating no Mayweather at 130. Not even on the same tier.

Given the timing of the moment Floyd finally chose to face Pac, I don't think he sees that the way you do.

It wasn't that clear. Vegas stayed Floyd's incarceration years ealier so they could fight but all of the sudden Pac couldn't fight on May 5th when Arum said weeks before that Pac could potentially fight on May 5th thinking Floyd would be jailed.
The outdoor stadium ... Blame Mayweather if you want but there's always two sides to a story.

Anyway, I don't think anything changes. A more prime Floyd beats a more prime Pacquiao.

    Ah... That would be Floyd.

After the prime version Pac dispatched Cotto, the Floyd match-up was all set till Floyd demanded additional testing.

A bit ironic given his subsequent IV rehydration therapy some years later.

But Pac was clean and USADA doesn't catch anything anyway according to Pac fans. What was the problem then? We can keep going in circles. The fact is both were at fault.

Cotto always loses to elite fighters. He was concreted by Margarito a fight removed from the Pacquiao fight too.

The fact still remains an older Floyd beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao has looked good in all his other fights before and after Floyd.

Julio Cesar Chavez was probably the best at 130 pounds.

The problem was that Pac had never failed a drug test and that Floyd was demanding extraordinary tests that he had never demanded of any other fighter. Additionally, he was slandering Pac. Pac sued and won and took a reputed 7 million off Floyd and an agreement to never repeat his unfounded accusations.

It was widely viewed as a duck.

Cotto easily defeated Marg every time they fought clean.

No. Both men were past prime when they finally met.

But due to his fighting style, Pac had lost a few more steps than Floyd.

The fight should have taken place in 09 or 10.

Floyd would have still been the slight favourite, but it's very possible he would have lost.

Cotto NEVER legitimately beat Margarito The NY doc stopped the fight when Margarito started to come on & Cotto started to wilt again. Margarito was blind in one eye from round 2 why didn't he stop it sooner ??? There was NEVER any loaded gloves only in that POS Richardsons fantasy

Doctors cleared Margacheato for that fight. Stop with the eye excuses already. The doctors saved him from being KOd.
