Do we assume he beats the Pacquiao at 130? Pacquiao after maybe Roy Jones was the most naturally gifted athlete I've seen in boxing, his speed and power in the left hand is frightening, and his workrate was insane.

So do you give it to the more skilled guy, or the more athletic? And Loma is no slouch athletically.

Well let's see Pacquiao beat the living pis out of arguably the most technically skilled man of his era. Named Marco Antonio Barrera.

And Roy Jones Jr clowned the most technically skilled man of his era. Named James Toney.

Skill can be overcome with being strong, tough, durable, aggressive, conditioned, etc. Its been done constantly in boxing history.

    Pacquiao would have flattened Loma.

Pacquiao and Roy Jones are the most physically gifted boxers I've ever seen. Is it a coincidence they were named fighters of the decade?

No its not. Skill isn't everything. Sometimes it's better to be fast, aggressive, strong, etc.

Lomachencko had to practice what comes to Pacquiao naturally. Manny has a raw street fighting style in his early years. Lomachencko favorite fighters are Jones Jr and Mayweather so he combines the styles very well.
What I'm seeing is people setting the bar too high for Loma . Eventually they will what Jim to fight Crawford and Spence.

Pacquiao spent virtually his entire career fighting raw. Look at him even against Hatton kind of late in his career. He's still wild, aggressive and destructive. It wasn't until after the Margarito fight when he had to change his style because his opponents were so much bigger than him and Pac himself was starting to decline.

Pacquiao could take one to give one too. You factor in he's one of the faster guys as well....
