Lomachenko not wanting to get re-injured again

It's pure speculation from die hard Lomachenko fans.

 

With Loma's height, and reach he should be fighting at 140 and even 147.

 

LMAO.. did you see some Loma fans try to make this bull**** story about how Pedraza had 2 weeks notice before he fought Tank.

 

C'mon man.. Loma would get killed at 147. Can you imagine what Spence would do to him? It would be more brutal than GGG/Brook. 135 is his limit, 140 is possible since 140 is kinda weak. I think he could beat Taylor and Prograis.

 

Love Loma but he gets crushed like a grape at 147lbs. Way too small.

I don't think he'd beat Prograis. Prograis can counter punch a bit, and has decent handspeed.

 

Loma would do fine at 140...don,t know about 147

 

Loma isn't going above 135lbs. He and his dad were very hesitant to even make that move.

Lightweight isn't even sexy anymore. He's cleaned it out and when Mikey will never make 135 again after going to WW and receiving a career altering beating.

Realisticaly what's next? Linares rematch, Luke Campbell?

Berchelt and Tank want NONE of Loma at 130 or 135lbs.

I agree that Loma has probably reached his ceiling at 135. He is a small dude.

 

Yes, but was Anatoly more animated than usual? I thought maybe he was upset after Loma seemed to lose a couple rounds.

 

What type of opponent is that? Fact is that Pedraza is at the top of the list along with Linares of the best fighters that Loma has fought. Another fact is that Loma fought the best he could the whole fight and the eleventh round was a culmination of the work he put in before. That's not saying much because Pedraza was holding his own. Loma got in a shot that hurt Pedraza in the 11th and he went for broke which is what the average fighter would have done. It's not like he had an extra talent switch he turned on. He won the fight but he wasn't playing with Pedraza by no stretch of the imagination.

 

Ya think! This site has gone to hell. When I first started on this site back in 05. It was the Monday after the Hatton/Tszyu fight. I mainly went to the atricles section. The conversations were mostly fact based. People would make arguments based on past perfomances of fighters and use past opponents to make a point for or against fighters. Now it's just hypocritical hate.
