After that performance and taking into account that Walters was probably squeezed into most top 10's surely Lomachenko is the number 1?

I really can't see anyone that touches him, 8 fights in 2 weight world champion and very likely he will do lightweight sooner rather than later

Walters was squeezed into MOST top 10s?

    Don't you mean 'hardly anyone's top 10s'.

Find me a pound for pound list before this sat that had Walters in the top 10.

The only way he loses is if he competed at LWW and just can't cope with the power. He only weighed 137 on fight night. He is a pretty small guy.

Hes certainly up there and i dont think that it will be long before hes no1.
One fighter i reckon deserves a higher position at this time is Roman Gonzales

Yeah he could always make 57kg amateur although ended up competing 60kg. As you say if he went in with say a crawford at LWW be a big size disparity.

Lomachenko v Linares be some fight

Regarding Walters I was fairly sure after Donaire he was at the bottom end of most top ten p4p, right or wrong he certainly schooled a man regarded as one of if not the best at the weight

Gonzales class as well, unfortunately for GGG he doesn't seem able to find an opponent to really push his claim

P4P in my book feel a bit for him though he's never going to get the paydays his skills deserve with him being so light

Lomachenko No.1 P4P? Give it a break mate. I really like the guy, his incredible boxing skill is obvious even to the casual boxing eye but no way does he have the names on his resume to be no.1, not even in the top 5 but probably creeps into top 10.

People need to chill on this guy a bit, after saturday it seems he's become the second coming of christ.

Unlike a lot of people im not here to tell others their opinions are right or wrong as they are opinions.

My opinion is he is head and shoulders p4p number 1, im aware probably make an argument for 3 or 4 others to be number 1

Also my opinon of him is formed over last 10 years not 1 day

Cuedras was solid opponent and a very good name who really put a shift in on the night. Viloria and estrada were also decent although viloria a little old when they met. But i dont think its just the names who uv beat that make u a p4p, for example the walters of sat night, just wasnt the same walters we all know, he was beat before he got in the ring.
It might of been different fight had the nicolas walters turned up that we all know can fight although the result would probably be the same.
Im just saying you also have to consider that its also the fighter trying his best that natters.
Gonzales 4 weight w.c as well.
For me gonzales still above loma at this point although i dont think it will be long before hes no1 p4p.
Loma also will probably make ATG.

Kovalev, Ward and Gonzalez are easily ahead of him atm imo. Needs a couple more big wins to even consider him for no.1

No, no and no. Yes, he's very talented, great amateur back ground and wanting the best fights. Give him time to develop and we'll see, people are all hyped up by one fight. He still hasn't fought an elite fighter at their prime, wait and see.

Sorry mate I meant GGG couldn't get opponents not Gonzales. Like i say just my opinion and appear to be in minority!ha I would say Walters and Russell jr are elite level fighters at their peak tbh im sure they would to. I suppose P4P is all guess work im going on fact I think he is best active boxer any weight by a country mile and 2 weight world champion after 8 fights. Regarding hyped up on 1 night please believe me this is not the case I've watched him for years and years
