He's had 7 fights as a pro how can he be (with one loss)?

Wards, kov, Gonzales, GGG all above him at this point

He has the potential to be the next mayweather. But its too early to be making those calls.

If he had another 4/5 fights at top level he's up there

8 fights 2 weight world champion which puts him in never been done before bracket, wins over Walters and Russell which nobody else has, also Martinez a respectable win any level, his defeat to Salido in 2nd pro fight very controversial and Salido didn't make weight.

Like I say opinions im in the minority for now, maybe revisit in 12-18 months but for me he is better than all the above

For me he is number 1 as he is quite simply better than them all. Kova v Ward well it added a defeat to Kova and so close it hasn't blown up the winner as expected. I rate all of Gonzales, GGG, Ward, Kova but for me Lomachenko totally different level, as I say opinions mines of no more or less value than anybody elses.

I do agree that loma certainly has the potenial and probably will become no1 p4p in the near future, he will probably make the top 20 ATG if he fullfills his potential but atm hes just not there for me and hey im a big loma fan.
I certainly think that if we revisit this thread in 18 month we shall all be agreeing with u

Yeah their all class at that level very little in them, as you do I just see greatness in Lomachenko. As well as a willingness to box the best and make history which as you say come end of the career time will place him highly.

Good for boxing that with Floyd retired and Pac not what he was there is a queue to take over :)

Right now Roman Gonzalez is ranked higher. After him you can argue Golovkin, Kovalev/Ward depending on how you want to view that match, and maybe even Crawford. He's definitely in the top 5 though.

I agree, I'm very high on all 4, but Loma isn't top 3 pound for pound yet.

Ward and Kovalev was so close because theyre both elite and P4P top 3. Lomachenko hasnt fought anyone elite yet. So he cant be considered P4P anywhere in the top 5. He has potential but to say hes in a different league to kova, ward and Gonzalez in just stupid and ridicilious.
Yes he may be too good for walters and play with walters but Walters only really beat a washed up Donaire who was on his way out. Anyone who knows boxing knows Walters has never been P4P material, he simply didnt have the skills and had slightly above average power. Lets see how Lomachenko handles other elites if he any others decide to come his way.
IMO Gonzalez would rip Lomachenko to shreads if they were in the same weight division. Thats how P4P is determined. If they weighed the same with their skills and power at the original weight how would they fair. I reckon Gonzalez would **** on Loma.

In my opinion Loma would beat any of them at the same weight which is why I have him #1, again that's just how I see it. I also see him as a different league to them for me his skillset is totally unmatched however you disagreeing doesn't make you stupid or ridiculous it just means you see it differently. As he isn't the same weight as any of them we will never find out, although I think Rigo has just called him out
