As you can see Loma is telling Shakur we can go right now as Shakur cowardly hides behind security running his mouth

Hopefully this motivates him to get shakur in the ring. He would get plenty of opportunity to smash his grill.

Loma is tiny for 135, is routinely facing opponents who are way bigger, heavier and longer than him and has fought many legit bangers and KO artists not only his size or bigger but way bigger too

And he's fought 13 world champions in just 21 fights, all either in their prime or close to it, 9 of them much or way bigger than him, 10 of them bigger, 2 the same size and only one smaller than him

And he's fighting on the road or in his opponent's backyards all the time too

However, despite all this he still sports a KO 66% and has stopped, dropped, badly hurt or hurt every fighter he has fought at 135 sans Teo, a division which, as said, is only his third one because he turned pro aged 25 not at 20 y/o or in his late teens. It would be like his 5th or 6th if he did turn pro that young with same day weigh ins. Hence why all these guys at 135 are way bigger than him

    Linares was KO'd
    Kambosos was KO'd
    Crolla was KO'd
    Nakatani was KO'd

Pedraza was dropped x 2 and very nearly KO'd
Commey was dropped and very nearly KO'd
Campbell was dropped and very nearly KO'd

    Haney was hurt
    Ortiz was hurt

All of them were much or way bigger than Loma

Despite the big/huge physical disadvantages he's routinely giving away, he still simultaneously remains one of the very best offensive and best defensive fighters in the sport and is great to watch and isn't stinking the joint out running like a cheetah, holding like an octopus, ducking below waist level, stiff-arming etc.

Haney was absolutely gigantic for 135 and 140 too and is way bigger and heavier than everyone he's beaten

    He sports a KO 48%

Has never stopped a single world champion he's fought even though he was way bigger than all of them

3 of the 6 he's fought were old men

2 shot to bits and have been stopped in 10 of their combined 14 losses and were known to be chinny in their primes against opponents their own size

Has only scored 1 KD in his last 8 fights and only 1 KD in his entire career against a world champion

Shakur was a very big 126, moved up immediately after winning the belt, lost his title at 130 on the scales after his 2nd defence and 5th fight at the weight because he couldn't make weight anymore at that weight which he was also big for, and he's looks about the same size as the 135 pounders he's fought

    He sports a KO 45%

Has stopped 2 of his last 8 opponents

Has only stopped 1 at 135

Has never dropped anyone at 135 albeit he did stop Yoshino

Has only fought 3 world champions al of who small than him or the same size

Has only scored 1 KD against a world champion, against the much smaller Valdez

And he is scared of getting hit by fighters his own size who aren't even big punchers or above C level

And he has stunk out the joint numerous times and even his own hometown fans boo him and leave the venue in their droves before the final bell due to him stinking out the joint

    How you explain?

And even worse, now imagine Haney and Shakur actually giving away the kind of physical advantages Loma routinely is and how many more divisions they would have to go up to do so. Imagine how much lower their KO% would be, how petrified they would be of getting hit, especially when facing actual legit punchers and KO artists and world champs and top contenders at those weights, and how much worse they would fare?

I think Loma takes him with precision and a better work rate. Shakur just doesn't do enough. He's still dangerous but I think Loma just does more and gets the decision win.

Never understand why fighters do this "let's do it right now", well where? In front of a crowd full of people? unlicensed? And what, risk losing your boxing career?

Boxers do this knowing nothing will happen so my question is, why do it in the first place?

Loma vs Shakur is a 50-50 type affair.

Shakur will need to be more effective offensively than he's been of late, because Loma has the foot speed and footwork to press the action and maintain contact.

That's great and everything, except no one cares to see a few words traded for a fight that hasn't even been made yet.

Yeah but that will never stop the hype / promo machine.
Content is king - if we are into it or not
    Someone else always will be.
