I don't see why we shouldn't have what are essentially 'rehydration clauses' as standard in all honesty.

It's a hell of a lot healthier for everyone involved and we'd actually see, for example, who the best "Welterweight on the planet" is...rather than the guy who is simply better at rehydrating and becoming the bigger Super welterweight in 24 hours.

Can Rigo bring his power up to 130lbs.? Lomachenko punches harder at 130, people forget that Lomachenko is also fast, but has more angles and foot speed than Rigo. I have seen Rigo knocked down.............So many give Lomachenko zero chance on this board, zero! However, Lomachenko is the betting favorite for a reason...............

 

I never understood the panic and big deal about fighters being over the weight limit by 1 or 2 pounds.. and now this rehydration clause wtf?? There are heavyweight bouts when one opponent weighs 50 pounds more, and in some extreme cases 100 pounds more!! (Valuev vs. Monte Barrett) So who cares.. is it really that big of an advantage to weight a few more pounds? Rigondeaux is a scared b i t c h
