Because Golovkin wasn't moving up from 147?

    Just a thought.

Exactly because Salido owns a win over him and deserves a pay raise.

Salido enjoys being that thorn in Loma's side that'll never quite go away.

I'd imagine the negotiations routinely run along smoothly up until Siri is about to sign off on his demands...at which point he morphs into Billy Mays and shouts "But wait, there's more!", followed by a request to bang Loma's sister at the weigh-in.

He's going to string this along for his own enjoyment as long as he can. If he ever needs the rematch money, he knows it's there.

Did Lomachenko not sweep the final two rounds of that fight? That's called a fact, not an opinion. Perhaps you don't understand the difference.

But, hey, if you wish to keep pretending as if Lomachenko wouldn't dominate the rematch, be my guest.

I never picked a winner in this fight. All I wanted to see was a rematch to see if Loma is the goods. I don't know yet. I don't care who he fought. Like any young champion I want to see what he has in a rematch.

Sugar was young ring wise against Duran. He lost and asked for a rematch. I heard about steak and ice cream and Leonard making Duran lose weight, but as hungry as you were when you won you have to prove that you can win the rematch.

Salido did it with JuanMa, and Leonard did it with Duran. Salido and Sugar won. How did Loma do in his rematch with Salido?

Salido turned down a big money fight with Lomachenko, he should have taken the big money fight.................Lomachenko did not lose to Salido, Lomachenko lost to the judges and the corrupt referee Laurence Cole, the worst referee in boxing! The judges were corrupt, hell it still was a split decision, Salido got away with low blows, hitting behind the head, landing punches after the bell, holding, etc., Lomachenko had Salido out on his feet in the last round, even Salido said that, it was obvious......................if not for Laurence Cole Lomachenko would have gotten the decision. Tevin Farmer won his last fight, but he was cheated, fans do not accept that loss either..............

How did Salido respond when he had the opportunity to make the rematch??

As I have said numerous times before, Salido and his team are not keen on a rematch. I wonder why.
