Rigo won 1 more gold medal right? But loma had less losses

    Loma 396-1
    Rigo 285-12?

How are we meant to know? We don't know who faced tougher fighters or who dominated each individual bout more

I thought they'd won the same? 2 Olympic golds and 2 WABC golds. Loma has an additional WABC silver medal over Rigo though, which is his only loss at that level.

    I'd go with Rigondeaux.

Amateurs don't count. Should be, which is the best professional.

Lomachenko I think, better record (although I've heard that amateur records are not reliable - often fabricated) and more achievements.

I think rigo is at this point . No way he gets hit to the body , legs, hips as much as loma did. Granted, Siri is one of the best body attackers in boxing right now but lomas timing and countering was off that night.

You were the initiator of the link you provided above, but were not able to reproduce correctly the number of Rigo's wins ... :nut
Furthermore Rigo's number of loses was only 4 in total ...

Soo...the TS asks a perfectly reasonable boxing question (and yes the amateurs are boxing) and you tell him the question is illegitimate?

Rigo, is of course, currently the better professional - with Loma having lost 1 of his 2 pro bouts the question you suggest is quite pointless. The question about their amateur standing is far more interesting.

Where did you find that info? Every source I have seen credits Rigo with 12 losses. Not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious.

Both questions are completely pointless, as Rigondeaux last loss was back to his teenager time, and thereafter went undefeated for a decade, ... furthermore they never fought each other ...
These links are only trying to retain a bit of the aura Loma lost with his Grand fiasco!

Ah...so discussing the amateurs is not OK on ESB?

It's like someone starting a thread dicussing Teofilo Stevenson, only to have someone post that 'Let's change this into an Ali thread cos the amateurs are rubbish'....The TS's question is legitimate, if you don't wanna discuss the amateurs, just start another thread.
