It would be utter redemption over a world class opponent and a four time world champion. I'd second what someone else said here and rate Salido over the likes of Maidana... Salido is a great scalp. If Loma manages it then in my eyes he has a win and a draw over Salido! Combined with Walters, GRJ, Martinez & Ramirez that is borderline ATG **** already!

Be honest though... A win and a draw over old skool warrior Salido is almost a career for some! It's will be a third of what Lomas done in under ten fights! It's ridiculous! Look at his record to date... That is a career and an excellent one too for any world class fighter already! Salido has a top resume and has pushed many world class fighters close too. Look at Calzaghe... One of my favourite fighters, he waited out nearly a whole career to fight the best, years... Not always through his own fault sure but in the end beating the likes of Kessler, Hopkins, Lacy & Bika as a whole pushed him over that cliff edge to greatness. Loma is almost there already... Beat Saildo & go for Vargas and I'm sold. In fact I'm jizzing all over my sleeping wife's face right now just thinking about it..

A win over the SUPER SHOT Salido does nothing but waste a 2017 fight for Loma at this point.

Foregone conclusion Lomachenko wins, he's far more vetted as a pro
than their first fight. And Salido is far more shopworn. This is only
a revenge fight and really there is no need for it. Loma should be
    looking for bigger legacy fights.

The fact that Salido needed to be a weight division higher and still have the referee and judges on his side in Texas yet still struggled and almost got KO'd late proves that Lomachenko would destroy him next time. Just hope Salido actually makes weight this time and the fight isn't somewhere that benefits either of them.
