This is the right fight to make. I thought Siri beat Vargas, so I'm only annoyed that there's not another belt on the line.

This will be a good fight but nothing like the first. I like Lomo but it was entertaining to see the dirtiest player in the game pull out everything except a DDT or chair to hit the kid with that night. Lomo never complained and I had mad respect for the kid. I had no clue I was watching a further HOF which I still believe Lomo will be in the end.

Lomo has improved on so many levels that I think we might all end up felling badly for Salido by the 9th round.

Lomo by TKO mid 9th or early 10th round. I dont see Lomo giving him a mercy kill as this will be a complete breakdown and slow kill on Salido

Yes after he avenges this loss there are still going to be those that cite the first fight. If he finishes with a career loaded with unprecedented accomplishment there is still going to be that hater but just can't let it go.

Guys like that are not on this forum to talk boxing

I agree. What alot of folks fail to mention is that Loma has picked up afew things from Salido. He fights more on the inside, throws more to the body, and even hits on the clinch, fights alot more aggressive, but a very controlled aggression. I wouldn't be surprised if Loma uses some of these tactics against Salido, just needs to be careful to not turn it into a foulfest. But that's how Salido is, if he can't make you go toe to toe with him, he'll start fouling. Salido knows his own limitations, that's why he did what he did in the 1rst fight, but respect to Loma for still taking the fight.

Also he said he thought he was winning the fight against Salido in his mind but learnt that he's got to win rounds more clearly and make it undoubtable.

Even with all the advantages and Loma as a pure novice, Loma gave
Salido hell in the first fight. Other than the revenge factor I see no
point in Loma even rematching given their current trajectories.
(and I love guys avenging losses but this fight is pointless)

No it's needed, I mean he probably will beat Salido but if he never fights him again that loss will haunt his career forever, look at Lewis, he avenged his losses and nobody gives him **** about them anymore. If he hadn't that wouldn't be the case even if he is obviously superior to those guys.

Lomachenko is going to put it on Sacheato in the rematch.

I can kinda see that, I think back now on how Wlad still gets ****
with his losses to Puritty and Corrie Sanders, but only a few mention
the Brewster fight because he avenged it

Salido gave Loma a crash course in every difference possible between the amateur and pro game, and Loma had picked up on it by the last third of the fight.

It'll be interesting to see what Salido's got in his bag of tricks left he didn't already bust out the first time around, because Loma isn't going to get fooled again by the same thing next time out.

I could see Lomachenko stopping Sacheato. We know he's worn out from all the ring wars he's had, and he needs a stationary fighter to be right in front of him to look good, like Vargas did. I think a 'No Mas' type stoppage could happen.
