You are using the 'look at them stand next to eachother in pictures' argument - that is the most flawed argument ever that's been soundly debunked by many posters here. People look differing heights in pics.

Anyway, Celestino Caballero has the same height and reach dimensions as Sergey Kovalev. One is a bantamweight, the other is a big Light Heavyweight. Height + reach is not 'size'.

 

Davis is 22 and Loma 29. Floyd is teaching Davis the art of cherrypicking and of waiting for Loma to get old or get slower, which wil happen. Then in 5 years call him out. Loma 34-35 and Davis 27-28. That's only if Loma is slower and looks beatable, if not, Davis and Floyd will wait more time. All this while the "fans" justify this conduct as "okay".

 

If Davis is not ready why become a champion? And not only Davis but all those who become champion and then claim are not ready for "X" person. I am alright if he would try to unify and finish with Loma but he is plain out ducking Loma, another champion. Loma wants to fight the best but it seems the only way to do it is to move up once again without fighting the "best" in your division because they are not ready for you. Seems like the only good opponents for Loma are Garcia at 135lbs and Crawford at 140lbs (whom is too big for Loma IMO).

As I stated, Lomachenko is 5'7 1/2. He was taller than Walters in the ring as well. Walters is a solid 5'7. Lomachenko is a top level talent, you don't need to try to eke out a little more to his brilliance by trying to shrink him down to 5'6. lol. Don't worry he will still have at least three inches on Rigondeaux, when he gets the Cuban boxing lesson.

I dont think the fight should happen till Davis is better known and has shown to be one of the top guys in the sport and his name is well known. Problem is once that happens the scared little man will make sure to keep his fighter away from Loma until Loma is too old and on the decline. Davis is 22 and loma is 29. This fight will happen 7 years from now at the earliest if at all. Book it!
