I want to make this clear too. Loma is a good fighter. He fights the tough guys and wins easy. If he were to bypass the Salido rematch he would be penalized in that compared to other rough and tough fighters who are better than Salido; they would pick against Loma in maybe every fight. Just because he didn't rematch Salido.

 

Those gents know that. They just want to be able to talk smack because they know that Loma is in a better position to win at this time. They don't care about a good fight but only a Loma win and they are well aware that in two or three years that win will be up in the air because Davis will be seasoned and ready.

 

Loma will move to 135 soon enough then Floyd will claim he left 130 to avoid Davis, just wait and see.

 

There's really no way to defend this.
