Over at the scene he was asked about a Walters fight and never called him a duck. He explained it that he thinks it's about money, not fear (which is true). I think a lot of fighters would have used that as an opportunity to build themselves up by saying "Oh yeah he's ducking me...I even offered an additional 300K if he beat me and he still ducked" Nice to see that in the sport.
he did say that....but he also kind of threw in remark where he basically implied that if walters fought him it would be much more than just a loss on his record but of his reputation......so he was basically saying it sort of backhanded....but i get what yer saying....
Yep, he is a classy guy. Remember after the Salido loss Max Kellerman asked him why he didn't punch Salido in the nuts to retaliate. Loma said he doesn't believe in tactics like that.
Yeah I caught that part too. I just took it that he meant that in a general sense, like he was recognizing that Walters is getting more name recognition and a loss would hurt his marketablity. Obviously Loma thinks he can win just as most fighters would. It was a bit backhanded no doubt.
