If Lomachenko can beat Pacquiao, it would launch his career into the stratosphere, much like Pacquiao's destruction of Oscar did for him. It's 3 divisions, but remember, Lomachenko will be facing the smallest welterweight in the game who also happens to be old as hell and semi-shot and no longer an offensive monster. Most lightweights and junior welterweights are bigger than Pacquiao! And Lomachenko has every advantage with the exception of power.

    Height: Lomachenko
    Reach: Lomachenko
    Speed: Lomachenko
    Footwork: Lomachenko
    Age: Lomachenko
    Defense: Lomachenko
    Offense: Lomachenko
    Chin: Lomachenko
    Power: Pacquiao (maybe a tie?)

Bridge too far for Lomachenko. Salido ****ed him up at 126. He's gotten better, but has he gotten good enough to go up a fourth weight class and beat a top 5 fighter, which Pacquiao still is? People who **** on Roman Gonzalez for not looking dominant in his fourth weight class would drop Lomachenko in a heartbeat when he struggles and possibly loses to an old Pacquiao.

Frankly, it makes so much more sense for Crawford to fight Pacquiao. Crawford already comes into the ring weighing 154 pounds. That's more than Pacquiao weighs on fight night at welterweight. Crawford would have all the advantages you listed for Lomachenko only more so since he's about an inch taller than Loma and is a natural welter. Bob Arum represents all of them, so there's no reason you can't get any combination of Loma vs Crawford or Crawford vs Pacquiao and make an easy superfight to launch the next generation to stardom. Instead we're getting Loma vs Sosa, Crawford vs Molina, and Pacquiao vs Horn.

Probably meet somewhere in the middle. It kind of harkens back to Pac/Oscar with Pac now being the old man, ironic.

If Pacquiao is so small, why not just move down and meet him halfway?

Maybe he just loves eating extra rice then? Because he hasn't fought below welter but keeps saying he can.

I was very interested in the Crawford fight, but that was before Crawford stunk up the joint in the Postol fight. Crawford will look to box and counter and engage as little as possible. I want to see Manny in a fire fight (Vargas promised to go to war, then tried to box and got outboxed). Lomachenko will bring the heat for 12 rounds. Also, Crawford was 157 against Molina... at welterweight, I imagine he'd be in the 160-163 range.

I believe that Pac thinks that he can make 135, but that would be an extremely poor miscalculation that will end up draining him badly (at his age). I do believe that he can make 140, but hangs around 147 for the money fights (if the McGregor doesn't happen, I think Floyd would consider a Pac rematch). The only dude at 140 is Crawford.

Like Mikey Garcia said, Pac is the same guy @ 135, 140, or 147.

Pacquiao fought to survive the entire evening, a prime Pacquiao might I add, he didn't throw jack cuz he was afraid of them counters.

He ruined the fight for all of us!!

The 2 most meaningful counters were thrown by Pac. Floyd was hurt and had his daddy screaming at him w/ disgust and embarassment ("you fightin' like you scared, man!"). Floyd was juiced to the gills, too. Yet he was on his Huffy all night.

But let's go with your version... Why didn't Floyd hunt Pac down, cut off the ring, and stop him?
