Depends if there is any film on Loma before you fight him and where the fight is held.

Prime Escalera is rough and tough (and is fight in San Juan?).
Mancini won't quit even if he loses.
Ganigan is a live chance because of his one-shot power.
    Ernesto Marcel thoroughly dominated Arguello.

Hardest one here is Marcel IMO.
He could keep up with Loma's movement, and I wouldn't be surprised if he won.
He is very underrated, and Loma is not proven at feather at all.

Olivares may have some moments, but he was never his best at feather.

Mancini could cause Loma trouble if he fought 'Salido style'. He was very strong, extremely fit and wouldn't quit. That said I would tentatively pick Loma.

The fact is, Loma is probably good enough to beat all of them, but he hasn't proven it yet.

Arguello would knock out Loma .
    Marcel is too slick .

And Chacon I would pick to beat Loma .Hell Loma wouldnt be able to keep him off of him.

I just picture Arguello landing that Righthand on Loma- and Loma has never felt power like that .

I think the wear and tear factor of fighting those guys in a short time frame takes its toll. He'd lose at lightweight to someone. He might get beat at 130 even---all it takes is showing up with his B game on one night. Look at his last fight & Lomachenko has a broken knuckle. We will have to see if the guy starts developing bad hands. Not so many pro fights yet, but a ton of amatuer bouts.

Hmmmm....it sounds oddly like you have never even seen a Loma fight? Oh well I have no problem with the pick although I am undecided.

Arguello struggled to me with movers and I think Loma will give him some movement and angles to frustrate Arguello with as well.

Again not sure who I would pick, but I am pretty sure it will be by decision and not a stoppage.

Who has Loma ever fought with the power of Arguello?
Alexis did have trouble with movers but he also usuallt knocked them out- Castillo was a very good mover and Arguello took him out.
I would have to see how Loma handles a really big puncher before i would pick him and i havent seen that .

    I agree with you.
I just can't favour Loma until he beats someone similar at the highest level, even though he has the perfect movement to trouble Arguello.
If he decisively beat Garcia, than I could definitely favour him.

Lomachenko beat what may turnout to be this generation's best featherweight beside him in Russell Jr., if Russell can beat Leo Santa Cruz clearly. Russell himself was ranked #1 for a bit in 2016. He also ruined Nicholas Walters, who was #1 at 126 before moving up. I think that tells us a fair bit about his level there. Personally, I think he would have been significantly more effective at featherweight, had he stuck around.
