Lomachenko vs. Linares or Beltran TR/GB Negotiations Discussion thread.

He actually called Miguel out and Berchelt instead decided to move on to fight Mijares. Loma had an easy fight with Rigo and could have lined up a fight with Berchelt in Feb or March if he was really serious. Especially when Mijares pulled out, Berchelt could have pushed for Loma then....instead he went with an easier option...which again fell through giving him another chance to push for the Loma fight but once again, Berchelt found another, easier option.

The good news is he called out Loma after his fight on Saturday but it looks like Loma has decided to move up to fight Linares. I really don’t think Berchelt wanted the Loma fight. If he did he had plenty of options to really go after the fight the same way Linares has and Rigo did.

It’s going to happen. The fight is the best option for Top Rank as the promoter for Loma. A high profile fight against a legitimate top boxer and world champion at a higher weight class.....not to mention a very winnable fight. If the fight doesn’t happen it’s not because of Bob throwing out obstacles....it would be because of Golden Boy wanting to avoid their charge losing to Loma.

There is really only one decent fight which is with Berchelt but Miguel hasn’t really been pushing for the Loma showdown. I know he has recently called him out again, but that’s after Loma has been lining up a fight at 135 against Linares. After beating Rigo Loma was saying he wanted to stay at 130 and unify and the champions at SFW were as quite as church mice. Berchelt could have made a push for Loma to step in as his opponent when Mirjares fell through or when Malaga fell through, but he found another light touch to move forward with. Davis doesn’t want that fight with Loma and Machado doesn’t want it. Ogawa might, but he hasn’t said anything since beating Farmer and then caught doping. At 135 Loma has better options....Linares, Easter and Mikey are great fights.

 

Loma would embarrass that Bercheit guy and Loma would do the same to Linares only difference is the people complaining if the Linares fight gets made saying it should have been Bercheit would have been the same complaining if Berhcheit was made saying Loma should have challenged himself and moved up for Linares.

Pedantic, micro managing scum that will continue to complain about every move Team Lomachenko makes. The trash that claim Loma ducked the Salido rematch are the absolute bottom of the bird cage.

 

Crawford will not get the fights he needs at 147 and neither will Loma. Loma is gonna do what Garcia does and select champions and keep jumping from weight class to weight class. That way if anyone says anything they can always say well so and so is a champ at the weight haha. It’s plain as day to see

 

Crawford needs to leave Arum because he has no fighters at 147.

 

What do you mean?! They literally waited for Beltran. They aren’t fighting Linares next expect Arum to say Linares is mandated to fight Garcia next by the WBC. Crawford will not fight the welters that matter. People actually still have hope that Arum will work with other promoters hahaha. Honestly we need Arum to die, cause Todd got no problem with other promoters
